Our dog Coco tried to eat a porcupine last night and I wasn't able to get all the quills out myself. Just moved to northern Michigan from out of state and don't have a regular vet yet. After discovering they were over an hour away from where we live the kind women who took my call tried everything she could to help me find an emergency vet closer to where we live. Our dog was hit by a Bata bus yesterday and Dr Jancka was beyond amazing! She explained everything to us and made us feel better about the situation. She called us twice to give us updates on our dog's progress. She will be our dog's vet from this point on! The staff was just as good!! Thank you everyone at Bay Area!!

We have CHV in two litters of puppies. Not something I ever had.. NOT something the vets ever treated.. BUT they listened to other breeders who had CHV and they saved My two litters.
We are new to Traverse City and our Sheppherds thought it would be fun to try and eat a porcupine. We brought them here and was thrilled at how nice everyone was and what good care they gave the dogs. I hate to say but we hope to never need to come back again in the middle of the night but we are glad you are here in case we do.
