Very bad false advertising I placed an order online for 13 3 wick candles that were $6.37 said in stock so I ordered them paid then they canceled 9 of the candles saying they dont have them in stock I am very mad I spend a lot of money with bath and body works I will not be ordering agin scam just to take my money and not get what I paid for terrible

I purchased a candle from there & when I came home I lit the candle & could not smell anything so the next day I lit it again & same thing, nothing!. I called the customer service department & a representative named Jamashia told me that I can exchange the candle in the store for a new one but given everything that's going on with covid I do not feel comfortable going back to the mall right now & if she can send me a coupon for online & she said they only have coupons for in store purchases not online. Bath and Body Works have some great sales during the year but hugely disappointed to find that not all stores acknowledge the points system so I am forced to order online. If I'm lucky and the stock is in I can go home place the order and drive back down to a local store (40 minutes one way) to pick it up. So ridiculous of an extra effort. But, if not in stock I have to order online to use the points credit and pay $5,99 for shipping. Im extremely frustrated with the online process and shipping of ***. While I love the store. There online is just awful. So much that I am taking the time to write this review. I placed and order on 12/3/21 during the candle sale. Received an eta of 12/10 and again 12/14. Then my order stated delivery date unavailable. When I called the rep told me to call back tomorrow. I placed an order cyber Monday 11/29 with an estimated delivery date of 12/3 - 12/9. Its now 12/20 and I still have not received anything. New estimated delivery date is 12/22 with a delay of 1-3 days yeah obviously its cyber Monday so those were Xmas gifts. I will never order with *********** again. I get some delay it happens. This is absolutely ridiculous at nearly a month later and you may or may not get your Christmas gifts.

I ordered on 11/25/21 for Black Friday ordered 18 items. I received and email that my order was placed. Nothing to follow though. So I called 2nd weekend of December my package was estimated to arrive on that Monday 12/13 and the customer service member I spoke with said if I dont get it on Monday then to call and ask for product to reship as it appears it has been lost in transit. Unbelievably BAD customer service. Ordered the but 2 get one free event, the site took my car info then told me an item was out of stock but processed my order without choosing another free item THEN I was charged for everything INCLUDING the stuff that was supposed to be free.. THEN only one thing was delivered out of 15, even though the site said everything was delivered. 4 customer service reps later.. TRYING TO GET AHOLD OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER ********************** SALE. THERE WAS NO SHIPPING ON MY ORDER WHICH I ORDERED ALOT BUT 2 OF THE CANDLES DIDN'T COME IN THE ORIGINAL SHIPMENT. GOT THE OTHER 2 A FEW DAYS LATER AND NOW THEY CHARGED ME SHIPPING. CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES NOT EVER GET YOU TO TALK TO A PERSON THEY KEEP SAYING THERE BUSY, TRY AGAIN LATER. I HAVE TRIED FOR 2 DAYS NOW AND NO PERSON TO TALK TO.

I am a former employee and huge fan of Bath and Body Works. This year, I was not able to go into a store for candle day. I waited online and was finally able to gain access. I ordered 13 candles and also had a 20% coupon. I entered the coupon where it says only one promo code can be used and processed the order. When I look back on the order, it gave me 20% off of the original price of $25.50 for $20.40 a candle!
