Bought my car here 11 months ago , yesterday my check engine light comes on I go there this morning , and I tell them what's going on and get told oh we can't work on a chevy here , so took it to there chevy place on transit and there they just looked at me and says it will be about 3 weeks to just look at it and fix it then there not sure if the extended warranty will cover it !!!! Basil was awesome! They gave me a great deal and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Their follow up is admirable, checking in to see how I was enjoying my new Ford Escape and if I needed anything!
The bank wouldn't approve me for the car that I was looking at due to the older year and the mileage, etc. Even though they all act like they will get you approved no matter what, I wouldn't have given them a bad review simply because of them not getting me approved. What upset me, is that they them continued submitting my credit over and over again to numerous different banks, in a attempt to get my approved for a different car, without even speaking to me about it, and with me already having spoken to them about what I was... read more
In June 6th 2017 We bought a new 2017 Ford Escape from Basil Niagara Falls . We paid $100 up front for the registration, and waited weeks for it to come in the mail. Finally on July 11th out of desperation, I called the salesman who told me the registration was there in the "title" office and had been there for weeks!! I asked why nobody called us and he told me they sent out a postcard saying there was a balance due ! BULLSHIT PICK UP THE DAMN PHONE AND CALL ME. Front end was great, auto service was slow and off schedule.
I would like to thank Basil truck center for getting me back on the road after my 06 f250 diesel started leaking fuel in Canada in about an hour I was back on the road home to Virginia. They dropped what they were doing at the end of the day on July 3 no less to get me and my wife going again. Not your typical dealership! Thanks Tammy, Head macanic Mike and Joe the parts guy. My hat goes off to you Basil ford!
