I bought my wife a new wedding ring for Christmas 2021 and bought the protection plan, I was told I could bring the ring in to get it sized there at Jared's or ***** in ******************. My wife called to see if she needed to set an appointment to get it sized and was told it would take 3 weeks to a month to get it sized, they did not have any jewelers on site!!!! I purchased a necklace from Kay Jewelers on 12/6/21 with a promised delivery date of 12/9/21. I still have not received the item and have gotten absolutely no help from this business. I went to the store and was told it wasn't available but they had another one, that was an exact replica of what I'd ordered for around $70 more. I think I've been scammed and this is a classic example of bait and switch. I've spent thousands of dollars at this store in the past but I will never purchase anything else from them. I purchased a gift online from Jared. The shipment never arrived. They know that the shipment was damaged by *** in transit, but will not issue a refund until they conduct an investigation. In the meantime, no offer to ship another bracelet or refund my money. In fact, when I asked them to do just that, issue a refund or ship another item, they refused. I recommendation is to avoid doing business with Jared.

I took my husband's wedding band to Kaysto be resized. When I dropped off, they took payment and said someone would be in touch when it was ready for pickup. A week after I dropped it off I received a call stating that it was IMPOSSIBLE for them to resize the ring and that the only option would be for them to add sizing beads. I asked how much that would cost since I had already paid $80 for the resize and she advised it would be an additional $40. When I first saw this ring Jared had, I thought it would be the perfect Christmas gift for my girlfriend. With the steep discount I ordered it. Upon receiving it, the stone was loose in its setting, it looked like they failed to file off all of the molding trees, and the setting itself was not even.When I called to get it returned I find out that I either need to drive 2 hours to the nearest store to get my money back within 6-8 days, or ship it to them and have to wait 30 days for my money. I was promised 0% interest if I paid off my kay card with in the first year but they did not honor that promotion and I got stuck with 16% interest even after I contacted them to get it fixed. Now that I paid off the card and closed the account they are charging me more money saying I had a late payment even though I paid in full over the phone and closed the account before the the due date. Avoid getting a kay jewelers card at all cost!

Last February I purchased a tennis bracelet for my wife for her birthday. We returned it before the 30 day return policy was up for a full refund. Dur to the length of time for *** to process the return my *** credit card became due. I didn't pay for it as it was returned for a full refund. Every month since they have charged my card a $40.00 late fee plus interest, I have called several times to get this resolved with no lock. It's now up to $308.43. DO NOT SHOP with KAY Jewelers. They give you warranties only to lose your jewelery and you have to beg them to replace items you paid for. I took my rings in for service over 2 months ago for repair. The day before I was to pick my wedding set up, I called to see if they were back only to be told they were lost in transit. NO ONE bothered to let me know my rings were lost the day they were supposedly sent out until I called the store. I have been getting the run around ever since. I ordered a ring online to be shipped using a promotion code. After purchasing the next day it was cancelles and I was told I could reorder but the promo has expired. Complete rip off
