Customer service is HORRIBLE. They have people in the Philippines handling most of it and the policy was canceled 6 months while they kept taking payments.

Oh my God, I’ve never dealt with a worse company! They deserve negative stars. Both of my parents purchased long term care insurance and my mom died before using any of the insurance. My dad had a stroke which caused him to move into an Assisted Living facility and need help with his needs. This company continually asks the facility for more information and doesn’t issue reimbursement checks to my dad. Some information they request doesn’t even pertain to my dads care. I wish I could give Bankers Life NEGATIVE STARS! This company and the people that work for it are MORONS. Every call and transaction with them is a living nightmare. You'll wait forever online to speak with someone and I can guarantee the person you speak with won't have a clue. My parents set up annuities and made me their financial POA. They both have advanced dementia and trying to get their money OUT of the annuities to pay for their medical care is borderline criminal. My mother has been a long term care customer of Banker Life since 1989, paying her premium diligently every month. On August 16 of this year, she and I (her son) met with a local Representative here in Jacksonville, FL. In the beginning he was extremely helpful and went out of his way to accommodate my elderly mother (90 years). Just awful! Especially the Livonia Branch Craig Beattie Nasty and Rude attitude. Having an issue with policy and all I'm getting is a run around. So sad. Switch offices the same run around no one knows anything! Call the 800 number leaves you on hold forever. Call just hangs up. Someone needs to oversee these branches. Very poor management.

Saginaw, Michigan agents have lied and misrepresented the company with erroneous information from day 1. I was told there was no customer service department. But I finally connected with customer service today and discovered all the lies I was told. Run from this company as fast as you can!!!! They’ve stolen 75.98 from me due to the agent’s lies.
