We have had nothing but issues with Bankers lIfe!!! They call us at least once a week trying to get us to buy supplemental insurance. We have told them repeatedly to take our name and telephone number off of their call list, they do not! Just recently, they also showed up to our door uninvited! They don't get it that they should take us off there calling list! We do not want their insurance! This has been going on for months! I selected one star because the system would not allow no stars. Their agent, Silvanna *****, knocked on our door on a lead, as my ex-husband is about to turn 65 and had recently applied for a Medicare Supplement. He has a TBI, traumatic brain injury and resulting short term memory issues, which he explained to her and that he was not able to make any decisions about insurance but would take her card and give it to me and if I wanted to call her, I would call her. Bankers Life is horrible and their customer service is too! My Mom, bought a Long Term Care policy back in 1986 and has been faithfully paying $100.00 to them every month. They have collected close to $40,000.00 from my parents. She is currently 81 years old. Had to be admitted to the hospital in February 2019, due to being anemic/low blood count. Stellar Professional Service - Thanks to Bankers Life long-term-care insurance my infirm 90-year-old aunt received the expert, kind round-the-clock care she needed during the last two years of her life. Horrible customer service. I've been trying to reduce my monthly premium and I've been getting nothing but delay tactics. I'd highly suggest anyone searching for Life Insurance to go elsewhere. I wish I didn't have to award a single star to give a review.

A Bankers Life representative named Hanna came to my door, on the pretense of providing me information about Medicare changes, in reality to sell Medicare Supplemental Insurance. I sent an email to manager Christopher Beckley, with instructions to not contact me in future. A week or so later, an employee named Cydney left a very unprofessional penciled Post It note on my door, asking me to call her. The same day an employee named Micaela called my home again. There's no way Bankers Life can have an A+ rating with the BBB-unless the BBB took a bribe from them. They have not paid on our claim. Repeatedly calling their many office #s only results in an automated message to call another #-which results in the same thing. And, when I enter the policy # into their automated system, it says the # doesn't exist! They are very unprofessional & likely not legit. I got life insurance set up for my family through Bankers Life. The agent was very professional and explained the policy to me well. I would recommend them to my friends and family.
