AVOID BANKERS. Filing a long-term care claim is a messy and excruciating experience. The initial list of documentation constantly expands and changes. The claims department is either grossly incompetent or worse. Do not waste your money paying for a false sense of security. Based on my family’s experience with our 90 year old aunt, the claims process is so muddled and confusing it is nearly impossible to successfully file a claim. I will file a complaint with the AZ Dept of Insurance and the Attorney General out our experien... read more
Horrible company. Have an IRA with them that I have been trying to roll over into my current company IRA and they keep coming up with excuse after excuse as to why it cant be done. Always comes back to my work not providing enough info but there is nothing else my work can provide. They NEVER RETURN CALLS. Local branches never answer phones. I'm to the point of being close to getting a lawyer involved just to get my money.
My mother had an annuity and an IRA with Banker's Life. I would not recommend Banker's Life to handle any of your investments. My mother did and when she died, my siblings and I decided not to re-invest our inheritance with her local agent. He then cut off contact with us refusing to respond to emails or texts. Won't answer their phones or emails. We can't get our money from them.

He tried to hand me his business card so I had him put it on a chair on the porch to pick up later. He also asked me twice for my phone # because my husband, who is not his customer, hadn't responded to his calls. Both t... read more
The people that work with Bankers Life have the best intention and are wonderful to work with. They look out for the best interest of the people they work with. Lots of agents come from Non-Profit and community oriented backgrounds and have worked with elderly, students, and veterans. I love working with my coworkers!
Dishonest company. Gives grieving families the run around to close and collect policy benefits.
They have been calling for the last 3 years. I have called them several times to stop calling. All they tell me is to make sure I am on the national do not call list. I am! The calls keep coming! Time for this crap to stop.
Great company - quality service and incredibly efficient! I would highly recommend Bankers Life.
