I can not even explain my pain right now. My dog had a Banfield Plan for more than 10 years. First in Massachusetts and almost 1Oyeas in STAFFORD, VA (Stafford Market Place). I never had an emergency like that before, and I always take him there for regular appointments, check-ups, vaccinations, and dental cleaning. Please don't let CHINO HILLS Banfield Pet Hospital OR ANY OTHER IN INLAND EMPIRE recommend CVS hospital in Ontario for an emergency. It will be the biggest mistake of your life. They recommended this emergency hospital. NO CVS IN ONTARIO PLEASE. Try the Diamond bar emergency. I should have gone there. Maybe the outcome would have been different. In September of 2019 I had found a family of cats behind my place of employment at the time and would feed them nightly. They seemed to be ok, of course not in the best of health as they were someone’s or multiple people’s discarded pets, I figured the least I could do was make sure they had water and food. I just called to get information about setting up vaccinations for my new puppy. The girl was extremely rude and refused to help guide me through the process. Couldn’t even give me a ballpark cost and said, “I can sit here and go back and forth all day and argue, man.” Being a first time pet owner this can be overwhelming. They have terrible service! Never go to them....EVER!

I believe this is the last place you should take you dog. The only thing this establishment care about is money and protect themselves. I do believe for a second their main concern are our pet. They haven’t done anything in support of COVID-19 or with financing during these trying times but perhaps are only looking to fill their pocket. This hospital in Westminster MD is very disappointing. The customer service at this location is annoying. They check your pet in but take another pet behind your car. I tried to contact them to see why we are still waiting but their phones are conveniently not working. We had to wait curbside for over 45 minutes. If you can’t honor appointment times then don’t make them.

This company is a scam operation - they take advantage of your enthusiasm to take care of your pet and turn it into a cash cow for their operation. I was duped into buying the wellness plan only to find it was loaded with expensive flea/heartworm medications that I could have purchased much cheaper on my own. When I tried to remove this option before I received any of the pills and keep the base plan - it was refused, and I was told too bad, I signed the documents so tough. I’ve had the Banfield plan for my dog for four years. There were some years where we didn’t have to use any of their services which basically left us at more cost than benefit. Not to mention there are extra costs associated with ANYTHING that’s not included in the plan which racks up quite a bill. When my dog died, i got a new puppy several weeks later and I had to cancel the plan since they don’t allow the plan to be transferred to a different dog.
