We used this office and spent thousands of dollars on wellness and emergent care then finally euthanasia. They failed to detect adenocarcinoma that was so advanced it was metastasized to lymph nodes and lungs and they had expressed her anal sacs just 5 months earlier. We contacted corporate who said we would receive a call from their practice Mgr in 48-72 hours. That was almost a week ago and we have been ignored. RUN TO ANOTHER VET!

They do not communicate with you. They do not give quality care. They do not appreciate having a career in vet services. If I wanted to get screwed this badly, I would have stayed with my ex husband. This place makes me regret getting cats. I wish I would have never gotten them.
DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT They are a sham. Care is not very good. You are not allowed to go in with pet to meet with the vet. How do ever really know your pet sees the vet???? The pet dies you still have to pay for the contract They make you put a star up. But I say no stars I will never do business with them again.

Banfield has consistently been the worst experience of my life. They cancel appointments, they don't charge the same day every month so they are always causing me to get overdraft charges. You cannot cancel your insurance for any reason. Dog die? Too bad, you are paying the year out and they sneakily set it to auto renew so you better keep your eye on it. Lost our pets in auto accident, still want to charge us $700 for pets that are deceased and can’t even use the plans at this point. Now receiving harassing calls each week stating something is wrong with our plan after speaking with CSR’s twice regarding the situation. They will not work out a payment plan, they will not discount the amount, they require payment in full, and will apparently keep calling for the next 120 days each week until the payment is resolved. I am only giving one star because they will not allow no stars. Banfield Pet Hospital convinced my elderly mother to sign up for the continued health plan for her dog when she took the dog there one time in 2017. They charged her 53 dollars every month for 3 years until I took over paying her bills in 2020. Her dog never went back to Banfield Pet Hospital after that one time and yet they continued to renew her contract every year and take her money every month. SCAM! Worst experience ever! Rescued a kitten and was looking to have him checked out. saw Banfield has a coupon for complimentary first office visit for new pet patients. I called the bel air, MD location and asked about the coupon. Alyssa told me they accept that coupon and it’s good for the visit fee of $59.95. I wont even rate this business with STARS!!!!!! worst care ever for my Boy no compassion! All about the money!! Found out my boy had cancer in March, could not get anyone to call me back about his lab work, got the run around for day!! DO NOT USE BANFIELD! Banfield neutered my male Rottweiler at 6 months when, I now know, they should have waited till he was 18 months old. This premature neutering is a HUGE contributor to his ACL tear which now needs a $6,000 TPLO surgery. The vets at the Downingtown location also misdiagnosed his ACL tear as "growing pains" and did not take any radiology.
