This place is horrible . My 12 year old cat was misdiagnosed here by Dr. ******** . When I brought my cat to Banfield I was hoping to get some answers about her limping and bulging hip. I was informed by Dr. ******** that my cat has "arthritis" and that x-rays would show it. She wanted to charge me $600 to sedate her. I was also told my cat has a heart murmur, my biggest question is why would she want to sedate a cat with a heart problem ? The worse place in the world!!!! I took my lab in January because she had a mass on her belly. They told me 99 percent sure it’s cancer I paid extra to have the biopsy sent off. They called 5 days later to say it wasn’t cancer. On June 12 she started panting. I waited in the car (because of COVID) for two hours, only to be told she is hot because she is overweight. I was so mad when I wrote this I forgot to add that my lab ended up having a tumor which was what I paid to get biopsied and they were 99 percent sure she had cancer. The only way to know 100 percent was to do surgery but at this point the tumor was so big it wouldn’t have made a difference
Very poor customer service, my wife got me a dog and I only had him for a month got a plan on him in the first week, well it end up not working out because I work to much and now they still want me to pay the plan off its complete bs I called them and they want me to just keep paying its been like 6 months of free money for them and im sick and tired of the giving away money

Paid 37.95 months for insurance for 2020. My total bill for a visit was $148.94 because of the virus we were not able to do regular visits. Now I want to cancel and they tell me this: For ***** Services used = $774.65 Installments paid to date = $341.55 Remaining balance for services = $433.10 Remaining wellness plan payments = $113.85 We went once in August, I called the doctor to confirm the bill of $148.94, so "SERVICES USED: $774.65, how could that had happened. ZERO STARS AND the absolute worst to try and deal with when trying to cancel their "WELLNESS PLAN". What a rip-off. Also - extremely - if not impossible to get in touch with them to cancel the membership - multiple phone calls, chats, emails and even spoke with practice manager but nothing has been done to end my pain of this wellness plan. I will NEVER step foot In this place again! Called to make an appointment for my soon to be 3 year old German Shepherd. Told the front desk exactly what I was making the appointment for and when I dropped off the dog, I even repeated myself 2 times why she was being seen. DO NOT signup for a pet Wellness program with Banfield! Banfield charged me $509.00 for standard annual pet checkup when I opted to cancel my monthly wellness plan. This was a standard visit with a couple vaccines, nothing out of the ordinary. Typical cost would be $100 - $150. This was how the treated me after waiting 2hrs on hold to speak to someone, they do not give you an option to cancel online. You can however upgrade your Wellness plan online.

Worst service ever. Nasty staff. On multiple occassions, I needed urgent care for my pet only to be told to wait several weeks for an appointment or a dropoff. At this point, i have given up using them and have closed the account. To make matters worse, they debited my account for renewal and when I cancelled asked them to reverse the renewal. They just said they dont reverse any charges. Really!? This is the kind of reputation they want to set for their corporations. If you love your pet, do not use this service.

The contract I signed includes shots , limited office visit and neutering . I scheduled for neuter but the doctor refuses surgery calming possible bleeding disorder and I have to pay $240.00 for the blood test , even though neuter is included in the contract . On 8/11/2020 my dog was lethargic and wanted him to be seen right away but when I called the hospital I was told the doctor is busy and to take it somewhere else.
