Enrolled in their wellness plan at the buckhead location in Atlanta ha. The plans they went over is not what their care department explained after a bill being sent months later. I requested the account to be cancelled prior I had Autopay set so a late payment was never a issue. Got a letter in the mail of a past due amount of 75 when the account was supposed to be cancelled to the. Find out the total balance was 265 before being sent to collections. The first year of coverage was good but they restarted our 1year contract 6 months into our contract without telling us it would start over if we added something. So now we are on the hook for 6 more months of payments for nothing . Also when our dog was sick he couldn’t be seen fo a week ...useless. Also the guy my wife spoke with about the matter was a complete jerk and we will never use Banfield or PetSmart again . PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID, I did not read the reviews.. Please do not take your pet to the Banfield Pet Hospital. My 15 week old puppy was seen there once. He was up to date on all of his shots prior to the visit but he needed one more DAPP, a Rabies and a Bordetella vaccine. This company is a sham. I have been trying to reach someone in regards to canceling my wellness comprehensive plans on both my pets since the plan has no use to me anymore. They are charging me $115 per month since October 2020 when the orginal plans only cost me $89 per month for the past 3 years. Their reasons are because my pets are over due on the examinations. While caring for my 2 pets, I had no issue with the vet services provided, other than perhaps their persistent efforts to "upgrade" my plan to higher levels. However, trying to discontinue the charges for these services has become an expensive nightmare. I contacted Banfield customer services by phone on 12/4/2018 to stop the plan as I had re-homed my pets and was leaving the country. I am in utter disgust for so many reasons. I have been taking all 3 of my dogs to Banfield in nanuet New York for a very long time. The care plan seemed to be an amazing thing to help me keep up with my pets immunization at a reasonable price. Horrible customer service and attitude experienced today while at the facility, and on the telephone. If one or more associates, does not know something, or is unsure of something, or better yet, lacks the capacity to explain something, it is best to probably ask someone that does rather than get a crappy attitude with a customer who is paying you for a service and then rudely stating “We don’t have to explain anything to you.” Long story short, I have terminated my wellness plans for all of my dogs and will never set foot b... read more

Let me tell you a story. I'll keep this as brief as I can. My family has gone to Banfield for almost 15 years. My mother owns a Yorkie who has never seen another vet apart from the ones at Banfield. They were always good to us at the location we visited, so I had no issue taking my dog here for veterinary care. My very first dog was a beautiful yellow Lab. I have had pet “insurance” for 13 years. Well it’s not really insurance. I found this out the hard way. My dog just recently passed away on Friday jan 29th. I was unable to get him into any Banfield’s in my area ( mind you I live in the Phoenix metro area which there are Banfield’s everywhere) I was advised to take my dog to the emergency vet.
