Disgusting, negligent company whose only focus is stripping your wallets and making your life harder. I only dealt with them when I was working at Petsmart(s), because it was convenient. My first go around, I had a horrific experience with my male dog where they messed up his vaccines (gave him the wrong one at the wrong time) and he got really, really sick. Scammy.Disorganized, hard to get your pet's records. Front desk has gone downhill; some interactions were just bizarre. Lots of miscommunications and minor goofs.Banfield as a chain has had a few class action lawsuits against them. Their Optimum Wellness Plan is a scam! I always go to Hillsborough location but happen to be closer to this location today to get my dogs prescription food, and ******* from banfield refused to print out her prescription. Not sure what her issue was but I left irritated and went to the Hillsborough location where they did print out my prescription and I was able to get my little girls food. Apparently ******* must of looked at the wrong file and didnt even pull up my dogs info, she just jumped the gun with the first coco that came up (she never asked me the breed... read more

Brought my dog in ****** cause was Very worried , he wasnt himself ,I told several of those girls on the Phone , got him in ad soon as possible there They just charged me for wellness visit Paid 50 for a rx thst didnt save him He died 8 days later and I dont know Why!!!!! THE CARE PLAN IS A SCAM! My dog got sick out of the blue, and passed away not even a month after the plan renewed. Obviously I wasn't able to use the benefits, as we had to visit many emergency vets and were not able to make appointments at banfield.I was a loyal customer for almost 12 years prior, paying them tens of thousands of dollars for her care over many years, and they told me after begging them to cancel I would have to continue to pay every month for the next 11 months after her death no exceptions.After many email... read more

I go to Banfield Pet Hospital because an old friend of mine is a vet there. Due to timing issues with a vaccination, I had to visit with my dog yesterday, 6 months after his regular visit. Since my dog is healthy and having no issues (other than age) I just wanted the vaccination. The vet was a younger guy who pushed and pushed to do more services! Utter c*** Avoid this place like the plague, they are not diligent I'm their care. We buried our dog yesterday after his fight with cancer and they failed to notify us of abnormal blood results two months prior. In fact they said his blood work was good. Disaster of a company.

DO NOT sign up for the wellness plan. My dog died and I called to cancel, but they keep charging me anyways. I tried calling, emailing, and texting. Once you give them your credit card to automatically bill, good luck getting them to ever stop. **************** is very rude and unhelpful, completely unsympathetic to the fact your pet passed away. To them, the pet is just a number they can keep billing and billing. STAY AWAY.

We have taken our dogs here for years. The level of service has gone down drastically. We are unable to get appointments for sick visits, they overbook, and one day I was told that there was no doctor in the office that day. Also what qualifies Banfield Pet Hospital as a hospital? They arent a hospital when there is an urgent issue. We have had 3 serious issues and were turned away each time and told to go somewhere else. I understand that our wellness plan covers well visits but we also have unlimited visits and stool/urine... read more
