Welllll, no wonder this Scamfield Pet hospital has 1.6 stars on ******* They just scammed me and put me om collections. Damaged my credit and jacked me for 800 bucks which we negotiate down to 650.Lost my card, while waiting for the new one I received the Text and the mail notice for 1st attempt to collect the payment. I clicked on the link sent by them via txt, I was sent to the website payment form page and saw my old card as invalid in RED so I updated the card on file, there were no extra boxes to check off or anything. ... read more

They are a bunch of crooks after your money. They wont give your pets a leg saving prescription and they make you take all of these unnecessary tests. They make you do it to get your prescription. They also try to upcharge you for everything. Horrible. Stay far away. I wish I could give them zero stars.

ZERO STARS. In 2015 I purchased a plan, faithfully made monthly payments without skipping a beat. June of 2023 I had a issue with service. I was told I would receive a call from a manager. I called the 800# and ask to speak with a manager, the young lady basically told me I could not speak with a manager and disconnected the call. I received a voicemail the following month asking about my monthly payment. It is now September and I received a letter asking for $89, payment for July and August I assume. Paid faithfully (auto-pay) 16 years for my dogs wellness plan. Called today to cancel after she past away this weekend. They inform me that her contract had just renewed at the end of July and I have to pay until July ****. (Signed ** in October of 2007) So I guess they pulled the July date out of thin air. I will be bringing her ashes in for her comprehensive exams and monthly wellness checks for concerns of my choosing. No way anyone should have to continue to pay for services that cannot be rendered. These people are crooks...I had the wellness plan for 5 years. Once I tried to cancel the plan, all kinds of charges surfaced. I'm still being charged several months later. They have found a way to trick the bank with a one time payment instead of recurring that was stopped by the bank. Just another company preying on the public....crooks.

I am 69 years old and my daughter thought it was a good idea to give me to ********. She took me to Banfield in ************** to get them signed up for care. An employee took me in a room and asked me if i wanted flea control, what kind of care etc. After I told her all i wanted in the plan I was sent to a register where an employee behind the counter had me initial/sign things and give her my credit card information.I had no idea what i was signing a contract nor what was in that contract. My dog was bit at Banfield pet hospital at 250 ********************** ********* **. By a white pitbull by the name of Rain Even with a comprehensive plan, they did not cover my dogs care and failed to contact animal control.

Cannot emphasize enough what has been echoed below. I have paid faithfully into the Banfield Premium Wellness Plan for multiple animals over the past 12 years never had an outstanding balance.Unfortunately, one of our dogs had some chronic medical issues which required specialist care not covered in the plan, so for much of his last year or two we primarily used the specialists but kept his plan active still just in case since he had had it since he was 4 months old.Well, unfortunately, he passed suddenly from a stroke a mon... read more

Money scamming. **************** refused to cancel my account and said I had to pay for another year when my dog didnt even use all the services in the plan. She was rude and talking over me the entire time. Would not get a supervisor on the phone either.
