My pet insurance welness plan with Banfield Hospital was renewed in April 2023. 3 months later my dog passed away, so I called them in order to cancel the insurance plan but they say that I will have to pay the entire membership fee for services that for obviuos reasons my pet is not going to use any more? Be careful people because they don't care about you or your pet, they are only interested in your wallet.

I have taken all my dogs there and I have referred family and friends to them. But now I understand why there are so many bad reviews about Banfield. My dog Summer went there this Friday for a routine dental cleaning. Summer is not just a dog, she is my child. All my dogs are my kids. I had no hesitations or fears when I took my healthy, happy baby Summer to the vet to get her teeth clean. She has ... read more

Not only have we been charged several times, we can't get a test result back from them that's been pending for 3 weeks, and we can't get out of our OWP plan. What a disaster. Please save yourself and stay away. I would have saved a lot of heartache and pain if I had read previous reviews.
