Do not purchase the wellness plan. If you cancel it any time you will have to pay the remaining balance for a whole year that you won’t even visit. I think it’s very uninformed at sign up and this needs to be fix.

These people are rip off, don’t fall for their wellness plan, I use them only one time and right now I had to pay $346 to cancel my plans they have no doctors their appointment is only drop off in three weeks.

Worst veterinary hospital to have ever existed. Only slightly above scientific testing of makeup on animals. Also, because they can't hold on to vets, expect long wait times, and a new vet most visits. And then there was the one time where they were shut down for a while because they had NO VETS! This company is awful and should be put out of its misery so it causes no other human (or pet) to suffer their existence.

So Banfield wants us to pay 400 dollars additional after a misdignosis and multiple tests thousands of dollars, and pain our dog went through for 2 years to have him lose his life at 4.. ***** Banfield and if you know anyone else this happened to we are working a class action lawsuit.

My wife and I called to close a wellness plan account in late 2020. Banfield did not fulfill our request and continued to charge us for a plan we did not use. After multiple attempts to cancel, we finally just changed our credit card number to escape them. After that they began harassing us via constant phone calls to pay a due balance we were never reaping the benefits of. I do not recommend Banfield to anyone who cares for their pet. It is often busy and non caring, lately they have improved though. My dog was given twice the same shots because they confused his files for a former one he had. The additional file was made by their representative because they did not agree to have an additional payer, thereby creating two files and mixing them up. They charge you the full price of the contract after your pet dies... so tacky AND UPSETTING!!! I will be lowering the coverage for my other pet asap. In Los Angeles you have to wait weeks for an appointment, yet you are paying monthly for the insurance to ensure you can see a Vet. It is my fault for not reading the fine print, but people should know about their policy of charging for deceased pets.

Hospital itself was always kind, responsive, and caring to my dog. That is the reason they get any stars. The cooperate structure and billing, however, were absolutely maddening and unprofessional. The credit card for my wellness plan expired, so payments were missed for 5 months. In the madness that is life I did not notice. Turns out they were using a 3 year old address, so I was never notified of the situation. My 9-month old puppy cannot walk on her left leg after Banfield staff completed an Ovariohysterectomy surgery on May 1st 2021. This was done at the Vancouver Plaza Location. Brief Overview My 9 month old puppy was running about 3 miles each day before this surgery and had no prior issues with her leg. Banfield exams before surgery showed no signs of musculoskeletal issues or hip issues.
