my dog went DEAF after a dental cleaning! And has experienced silent seizures since. After numerous calls to the local AND corporate offices, I have gotten Zero sympathy and ZERO offers to allow me to get out of the "Wellness Plan", OR even to reduce the plan level to the lower, less expensive plan, that includes the same services that my pet has used. They encourage you to buy the wellness plan. It's a rip off especially if you have to cancel the plan due to not owning the pet any longer. They claim a regular office visit for rabies and the blood work to get heart guard is over $400.00. With covid going on, you are not allowed to be with your pet during the visit. They come out in the main lobby and talk to you about your pet. No privacy. Banfield Pet Hospital is a joke! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Best Vet experience ever! I do NOT trust most veterinarians. When I was 18, I had a vet kill my dog. Worst experience of my life. Banfield has completely changed my mind on veterinarians. We have the Optimum Wellness plan and see ****************** in **************** area and he is WONDERFUL. My poor dog has had bad luck with all things medical. Im leaving a review for the good of all pets. This place is a scam. I took my dog in to the banfield at shortpump VA. He been to this location many time. One day I took him in for a regular check up. Banfield tells me my dog has issues with his liver and spleen. They said they needed to do emergency surgery to remove his spleen to check a growth. Aside from a good doctor or two, this is an absolute nightmare. Anytime we need to bring our dog in, theres weeks to MONTHS before you can get an appointment. we are paying for a premium plan, and can NEVER get an appointment. Just sent an email asking if we can get credit for a month because the next appointment available is 5 weeks away, curious to see how that goes. Absolutely insane and unfair, and honestly makes me question how good the care will even be at this point.

Teeth cleaning- went into $1,400 of debt after they charged me for extractions when the teeth naturally fell out from cleaning that was covered in my plan.I went to this location for years, they seemed like the best option at the time and the wellness plan had rolled out and looked like a good deal.My last visit to them was when my small, older dog had to go in for a teeth cleaning (I did this every year). Once you sign on they won't stop no matter how many times you tell them you no longer want the service and you pay what you owe them they still continue to take from your account. This is a ripoff company. I believe they owe me!!!!

Hi I took a dog in that I received to get shots and checked up. I finally got the dog up on weight and she was doing great. Now every visit Im told to get her fix to avoid health issues. Now I get told oh its not part of the plan.(their favorite line to get you to change to a plan for more money) I finally do it and she came back with a bruised on her neck I got no follow up call as stated when I call no one answers no one return my message till almost 3weeks later.
