Banfield's hard sell Optimum Wellness Plans are tantamount to extortion. I attempted to cancel the plan today because the monthly payments have become a financial hardship and have been advised that I am required to pay the full balance of $317.45 or continue to pay $45.35/month thru September 2023 because services rendered are more than what I've paid to date. Well, I was so upset with all the issues all the time that i posted about earlier but I have to say that I was just contacted by the store manager who said the results just came in for Boomer and transferred me to the doctor for the region and we walked through resolving the issues. I just want to come, you come out to get my dog, call me when ready to pick up, EXPLAIN any issues/test results, we go home. Run away from this company!!!! If I could leave a zero-star review, I would. I signed up with the company and went to two appointments. My dog was taken to the "back" both times, and I never saw a Vet on both occasions.I tried to cancel my plan and was told that I did, and I was still charged for the next three months.This company is very expensive with terrible customer service.

After having both a cat and a dog both having pet plans $40 a month for 12 and 13 years. After ALL that money spent. BANFIELD WANTED TO CHARGE ME $600 TO EUTHANIZE OUR ************ COMPASSION FROM BANFIELD. And then wanted us to wait to the end of the day when our cat was suffering! AWFUL COMPANY!!!! Botched my dogs surgery and wont communicate with me. They did cancel my wellness plan thankfully but refuse to talk to me anymore about how we will get my dog out of pain. This started in November and is an on going issue in March. Their doctor over looked root exposed teeth, an infection and failed ti suture extraction sites leading to a worse infections. I would give this place zero stars if I could. This is the worse experience I have ever had. This place was going to let my pets condition get worse even up to death. My pet was seen by this place and their main concern was selling me a care package before even touching my dog. I purchased the package. Banfield has caused my household nothing but grief. They state they care about your pet by sending massive amounts of emails talking about what other services to upgrade to. My dog had several appointments canceled by Banfield out of nowhere especially after the amount of time it took just to schedule the appointment.
