Meg * 05/15/2023 1. Overcharge for Wellness Plan: I never acquiesced to getting the higher level Wellness Plan. The monthly price went from $65 to $83 without my consent. That really angered me. I had read about complaints and lawsuits that Banfields Wellness Plan was not cost effective. I never signed a contract nor was I notified that the price would change. This company if you can call it that will not respond to complaints, and even try to Collect money from people who did not even sign a contract with them,they take a creidt card put it on file then when they have problems processing it they don't let anyone know and send to collections. Stay as far away from them as you can they over priced and under perform. You call ************** to speak to management they say no and hang the phone up on you.

This *******, ** facility and their Banfield Hospital health care plan is good in theory for healthy pets and if you do not need their services in any kind of hurry, such as with a sick animal. They certainly are not a "hospital"in the true sense and that is very misleading. Recently I had a very sick pet and they could not get me in for over a week and that was just a drop off, where I could not go in with my pet during the visit. Their plans are a total rip off! If I could give then a zero..I would..you end up taking your pet to a better CHEAPER vet because 90 percent of the things that go wrong, aren't covered..don't go there!

After being treated for a kidney infection back in September, my sweet dog was still having issues. I took her in for ************* in February. A week goes by & no news, so I called & was very rudely told "We'll call you when results come in!" Im November, my dog, who was on an Optimum Wellness plan passed away. I cancelled my plan, but the company informed me that I still needed to complete two more payments. Im ******** my debit card on file for autopay had expired and I didnt realize the payment never went through for $55.36. I never received a phone call, email or anything in the mail about this unpaid bill. Last week, I received a bill from a collections agency for the amount stated above. Are you serious, Banfield?Your dog passes yet they still require you to pay out your entire wellness plan off..... my dog passed 2 days ago and I was told that I would have to pay out $422 on top of the $300 I paid to have her put down unfortunately. This plan is a terrible scheme. Read the fine print and don't do it.They don't give a c*** It's a money mill, smh. So inconsiderate.
