The doctors at this location lack competence and knowledge! No compassion for my pet. Treatments never work the first time, it's always multiple visits for problems. Never reassuring on the process of healing.

The team in clinic is great. Their customer service dept, though, leaves much to be desired. Manuel in client services had the audacity to tell me I was wrong when talking about a payment made that morning, which my bank shows as pending. But sure. Other than their systems inability to have more than one phone number on an acct, even though you have to provide 2 (see emergency contact) and the fact that all the other reps I talked to said it could be fixed, it's absolutely PEACHY.

Just awful. DO NOT PURCHASE THEIR WELLNESS PLAN. It is not like insurance, it is a hard sell, tough out contract. Their customer service line is rude and aggressive and is not easy to navigate likely due to too high call volume. If you are lucky enough to find a vet at these places that is good, then that is one thing but BANFIELD should not be trusted. They over treated my pets and provided services that I did not approve in advance. They justified the charges to me by playing on my emotions about my pets and high pressure ... read more

Their only concern is money. They overcharge for a plan that doesn't include much of anything. I dont recomend them at all. They miss inform you to get into the plan and when you want to cancel they charge you extra telling you that you only had 4 days to cancel something they dont inform you when your opening the plan. When you call they dont answer or say they will call you back just to wait until those 4 days are up. Recently today my cat went in for a preventive exam. I dropped him off at 9am and picked him up at 2:30pm. When I arrived to pick him up, the vet tech. at first could not find the cat carrier I used to bring him in. Then when she brought my cat into the exam room, the tech. said that my cat had pooped in transition between the kennel and being placed in the cat carrier but that it should be ok. Frankly, I would give Banfield Pet Hospital zero stars if possible. This hospital essentially kill our beloved 6-month old kitten at the hospital located on Fruitville pike in Lancaster PA. We had our kitten on the optimum wellness plan with this hospital. Our kitten died after undergoing juvenile castration. His death was not do to health issues but to incompetent and neglectful staff that failed to monitor his health post-operation. My cat has been a wellness plan member for 3 years now. I took my cat two days ago and dropped her off for a dental cleaning, exam and blood work. I picked her up and was given absolutely no information about her exam and blood work results. I paid extra to have her nails trimmed as well. I also expressed concerns about nasal drippings when dropping her off. The Vet did not speak with me at all and the papers sent home did not even indicate any findings from the exam or blood work. Took my dog here to update vaccinations after re-locating. Should have been a $50-75.00 one-time cost. I was socially pressured into a preventative care "Wellness Plan" I could terminate at anytime without consequence. #FLORIDA. FYI. Most ETHICAL veterinarians do not push services and products that are not absolutely necessary. The wellness plan entitled her to annual exam, vaccinations, blood work, and a dental cleaning for $39.99/mo. Since the vaccinations my dog has acquired food allergies she did not have before. THE MOST INCOMPETENT AND NEGLIGENT VET CLINIC. DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE!!! THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEM!!! Toby was seen last Saturday Sep 28th at this so called hospital, and after x-rays, blood work, and examination by a 'vet doctor', he was diagnosed with inflammation on his spine, and was sent antibiotics. He started getting worse during the week (not eating or being able to sleep) and this past Friday, October 4th we took him again (dropped off) at 8am. We called at 12pm because we had no updates.
