I don't write reviews really at all. I just want to get the word out there that you should not sign up a plan with this place. We had our dogs signed up for a wellness plan at banfield in Centennial, CO on University Blvd. The one vet just cares about trying to upsell you things your dog does not even need. We had a few problems there. First they took blood tests on our dog and she said she was concerned that it was cancer so we should do additional testing(which isn't included with the plan). They really care for my dog and truly want to make sure he is healthy. They love seeing him and are always cheerful.

SHE DIED... 1. I took my 14 yr. Old Chihuahua here b/c she wasn't eating, vomiting & had lost much weight. Signs of kidney issues. 2. Vet Dr. Jamie Fendley looked at her for a few minutes, came back to inform me she had Gum disease/Gingivitis. And a mild heart murmur.Prescribed Antibiotics & Pain meds (Meloxicam) NSAIDs. 3. If I could give a -10 review that is what it would be. Run, Run as fast as you can. This place is awful! I have given them the opportunity to do the right thing but apparently they will not. My poor little 11 lb, 15 year old Shih Tzu was brought in on a Tuesday because he had be throwing up, which he did occasionally and the vet told me according to the X rays he had ingested something "metallic". Even had a specialist confirmed her belief. $ 468 with pet plan increase now to $ 50.00 per month to cover Xrays. Bring him back ... read more

To whom this may concern, hoping it reaches the right person, it pains me to have to Express such extreme disappointment in the staff as well as the veterinarian on duty at the Banfield inside of the Camp Creek Petsmart. Today is Feb. 15...on LAST Saturday I had an appointment for my puppy to have his shots, I was called by the receptionist there asking me to kindly reschedule because they were overwhelmed with appointments. Brought my cat in for a mild case of conjunctivitis. His entire eye was visible with only just a little inflammation on his top eye lid. Vet gave him some eye drops now it is completely swollen. Called bansfield a few days later and told them the eye drops were making his eye worse. The lady told me a doctor will call me when she gets in. I decided to call and the lady told me the doctor has not seen smokie and did not give him the eye drops. I'm like she's still a doctor. She never talked to me. I cannot speak for all Banfield locations, but I can leave a review of this one for sure. On Thursday last week I took both of my dogs to banfield. I wanted to have them examined and put on flea and heart worm medication. The “doctor” took both of the dogs in the back at separate times. The issues started here, they took one of the dogs back to examine him and I also asked them to check the end of his tail due to him chewing it. NEGATIVE STARS If I could rate this pet hospital a negative 1000 I would. Hands down WORST vet I have EVER been to. Literally no one there knows what they’re talking about nor do they care about your pet. All they want is money, LITERALLY. If I could shut down this place I would. Took my dog in around November for tape worms, no biggie right? Got the meds I needed (could’ve got over the counter meds for cheaper but I didn’t care I just wanted to get my baby better). Please, consider other places! I took my dog, explaining that he was having bloody diarrhea and vomits, along with being lethargic. They only asked for a stool sample to test for Giardia. I explained that my dog isn’t exposed to that and that this was not normal in him and that something was wrong. They sent me home with pills for stopping the diarrhea and a shot for stopping the vomits. No further testing. I asked, and asked and asked. They said to go back if in five days it didn’t stop.
