I was charge $172 for a prescription I could’ve picked up for $52 with the RX coupon but Banfield pet hospital is not register for discount drug prescription.

Thank you for reaching out. We are glad we were able to provide the medication in question at a lower cost by dispensing it directly versus calling the script into a human pharmacy. As this is a medication used in both human and veterinary medicine, there may be prescription discount programs about which we are not regularly informed.

I have been with the for 7 years now and year after year they get worse and worse. I just got a puppy and twice now they wouldn’t make time to see her when she was crying with a UTI (even though I begged) and forced me to go to a local hospital. They don’t care at all now other than getting more and more customers (aka money money money) then don’t actually provide the services they claim to. So disappointing and will no longer be their customer.

If you are concerned about your pets health an well being sprint as fast as you can. It you are a veteran avoid this place at all cost. Our pet went without meds because I went out of state after he was seen. I could not get a written prescription or order online. Basically you can only get your meds through them. There cost was $138.00. They could be purchased online for $106-$108.00.

With 660 complaints all saying the same thing and now I see 177 reviews and I go to another website and the first 5 conveniently are good reviews then the all of the rest say the exact same thing as the 660 complaints with BBB, it lets me know I should have done a ton of more research on this company prior to allowing them to see my fur babies. I purchased the Optimum wellness plan when my Bella was a puppt. Tht was 10 years ago. I recommend this plan to all pet owners. I have saved 10's of thousands of dollars over the years. I never worry that I dont have the funds to bring Bella to the vet. The Optimum Wellness plan has given me peace of mind for 10 years. Well worth it! I do wish that they reported to the credit bureau as I have never missed a paymwnt in 10 years but have no credit for it.

After reading other reviews, I wonder how this business is A+ rated?? I also have been paying for the OWP that basically provides nothing. After years of - 'we are sorry, that's not covered' and the peer pressure of playing on the emotions we have for our pets, they have billed me an average of $5-600 per year for a yearly teeth cleaning and shots - which always ends in an additional $2-300 bill. I have been going to the location located on West Charleston in Las Vegas, NV over the past 3 years or so and have had pretty okay experiences with them. Today, however, was a terrible experience and after my pet recovers, I will never return to this facility again. I took my dog, Mocha in for her comprehensive exam, heartworm prevention and also asked for a nail trim. I interacted with Cheryl, Crystal and Dr. Nguyen during my visit. We started out with a local vet, then switched to Banfield when we moved because it was so close to our house (walking distance). Later we moved again to Connecticut, the town (Danbury) didn’t have a Banfield. The nearest Banfield is an hour away. We don’t live out in the boonies, either. There are two Petcos in this town, a Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Lululemon. So it is Banfield’s choice not to be in Danbury.
