I absolutely love this Banfield location! The staff is wonderful and great me and my cat by name when we arrive. My cat is always very relaxed there and never comes home stressed. They give her lots of love and attention so I trust she is in great hands, even when I’m not able to stay with her due to COVID policies. The vets have all been great about calling me to review treatment plans and are very patient with my many questions. I am so disappointed that a pet hospital would treat customers this way about their PET. Our dog passed away, and when I called to cancel the service, I had a large charge since I did not pay the annual fee for the dog wellness plan. I paid every month, how were we to know that our dog would pass away? Very insensitive policy and wasn't handled well by customer service either. We will not return.

I went to this Banfield pet clinic after I got my new dog. I got him off of craigslist so I wanted to ensure he had the proper care and get the shots he needed. Banfield was well known in my area so I decided to make an appointment. The staff there were really nice and comforting as they assured me my dog was in good hands. That is not where my issue is. This review can best be described by our experience last November with Banfield in Cary. 4 weeks before Christmas we took our healthy and vibrant German Shepherd to get her teeth cleaned. We were notified that her white blood count was low and the attending vet convinced us that she had a tick-born disease and suggested some rather expensive testing. Pet was not eating or drinking 2 days after a comprehensive exam and immunization. Took pet there on a Saturday paid $316 for exam, was advised Pet had an ear infection. On Monday pet stopped eating and could not control bladder. Called Banfield and they advised to bring him back on Tuesday. Pet was at Banfield from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm being tested and Xrays was advised he had a UTI.. not once was he provided fluids or food. But was sent home with 2 different pills to take with food. About a week ago (Saturday April 18, 2020), I brought my dog **** in to Banfield in Puyallup. He was having trouble breathing and showing signs of pneumonia and congestive heart failure. **** is a small (13 pound) shih tzu/Yorkie mix with a history of kidney stones and about 5 years ago had a neck injury and subsequent surgery that left him somewhat disabled in the back leg. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I got notice that my card hadn’t gone through for the months of December 2019 and January and February of 2020 a day before the amount for March was due. With that being said I paid for the months of December and January along with the fee and said I would need maybe 3 weeks for the last 2 payments since I had lost my job due to COVID and I had called to cancel before April was due but every time I talked to someone they hung up on me or said they couldn’t do anything themselves and had to... read more

I’ve never written a negative review before today. My vet was Jon N******. I took my dog in for vomiting/diarrhea. They did blood work and I was told he had high liver levels and needed various medications and specific food. I was given meds and food, but never received any evidence that they had run any bloodwork. I was never given a price for these goods, or a receipt. I am a little frustrated with the Banfield on Foothill. I scheduled my dog’s teeth cleaning and it was cancelled and rescheduled. I moved my schedule around to accommodate the Banfield time and even got the day off for the new appointment date and then it was cancelled again without notice. I understand right now it may not be an essential procedure but I’m frustrated that had I not called to confirm my appointment I would have never known it was cancelled until I showed up.
