HORRIBLE FRONT DESK GUY. Had scheduled an appointment for my sick dog. My appointment was at 8am. I called ahead to inform them I would be running 5:10 minutes late. I was told that was fine because there is a 10 minute grace period. I walk in the door at 8:10. When I start checking in my dog it turns 8:11am. The dude front desk told me I'm too late. In the process of attempting to get a refund for a service. Took my dog in. Saw the list of what they wanted to do while I was there. I told them I did not want or need a fecal exam since she had just had one and I would send over the results. I was handed a card with the fax # to send the results too. I was not given an itemized bill until AFTER I paid at which point I saw the fecal was still on there! I am not attempting to get a refund for a service that I did not authorize and I'm not even sure was performed.

I bought the wellness plan for two kittens - was never advised that there was a $45 service charge in addition per cat. Was not advised that medicines & collars were not included with neuter/spay - was lead to believe that everything was included. For close to $500 per cat for just initial shots and spay or neuter- you think they would carefully explain to you what additional charges there would be. I would have went somewhere else. This place is a racket! Do not believe them. They are manipulators.

I took my dog to get updated on his rabies shot as well as be seen by the doctor. I felt that more time was spent discussing pricing than actually checking out my dog and discussing him. At one point, the doctor had one foot in the room and one foot out with his hand on the doorknob, while I was actively talking to him. The examination lasted about seven minutes. If you have a serious pet problem Banfield Pet Clinic they blow you off...they basically killed my dog, Daisy Mae. Took her in last Wednesday, Sept.20th, 2017 as she was throwing up profusely and not eating and they told me she had Htsd...Hurricane traumatic disorder syndrome...the paperwork shows they did x-rays and it showed no objects inside of her...well she continued to get worse...I called on Friday and was told to wait another day to see if the meds they prescribed would work...well by 8 Am Sunday morning I knew she w... read more

I have been taking my cats to Banfield since I got them in July 2014. I've experienced many administrative frustrations. They have not been able to change my account information after I got married two years ago (my account still has an incorrect name on it). They've cancelled an order of highly anticipated flea medication (which was ordered through their website) without reaching out to me. I have been enrolled in "Banfield wellness plans" since the '90s. I have had to stop the plans before, but now I am unemployed and need to stop paying for things that are not absolutely necessary. I got a call from a collections agency that Banfield had told them to go after me for not paying in the last 90 days. I have tried to contact them, but have been unable due to not getting anyone on the phone, nor able to leave a message. January 27, 2016 I signed up for the optimum wellness plan for my rescue cat, then called and cancelled January 24, 2017 (days before the plan was to re-enroll). Took forever. Just noticed that my AMEX has been charged the monthly plan for January through August. I cancelled and have not used your services since cancellation. I want a refund of these months and I want you to stop charging my credit card. No one has been able to help me and I am disgusted with this type of disregard to customer service.
