Don't be fooled by the offer to put your animal under a contract. If you animal dies one day after the contract you still owe them all of the money even though they didn't do anything that would cost that much money. This happened to us and the dog didn't get spayed or nutured but we somehow still owed all the money because of a couple shots the dog got. Not worth the money to sign up for the contract. Don't do it.

I want to warn everyone about the new Dr Bruce T***** that works at Palm coast location in Banfield Animal hospital at Petsmart. I've had the worst experience of my life going for a simple appointment with my cat who had a urinary tract infection! I agreed to do the recommended urinary analysis for my cat, and declined the X-rays and expensive culture lab test as well as blood work they were trying to push on me! After waiting for almost 2 hours at petsmart for them to do a urine test and walking around petsmart I was told t... read more

Thank you for taking the time to bring your concerns to our attention. We do understand how frustrating it can be to have a cat diagnosed with Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC), as was done by both the Banfield team and your prior vet. Cats with FIC have been shown to have an exaggerated stress response due to imbalances in their nervous and endocrine (neuroendocrine) systems. It is thought that this exaggerated stress response is responsible for the changes seen in the bladder, and thus, the clinical signs associated with bl... read more

We went to the Banfield in Nashua, NH last fall. We had two dogs that received their shots and check up. The vet that checked them needed to retire. She had forgotten to check my male dog body, reached down at him as he was standing on the floor. He shipped at her, did not even touch her (he weighed 12 pounds). She looked up at us like she was offended. I would have bitten her myself if I was him. Both needed dental cleanings and my female has a nonmalignant mass around her upper incisors. This hospital said removal would be... read more

Banfield Pet Hospital on Mission Gorge Road in Santee CA (co located with Petsmart) is terrible. Understaffed and long wait times beyond several different appointments. No apologies and poor customer service. Will never come back again to Banfield.

We are unable to locate a client file based on the information for review. We would be open to discussing these concerns however.
I've been a client of Banfield for years. Last year I brought in a rescue dog which I adopted from a legitimate animal rescue organization. The puppy had suffered severe abuse and neglect. Fortunately his health was good but otherwise he was real emotional mess. Unfortunately we didn't know his true breed but the animal rescue folks gathered he was part cocker spaniel but at only 4 months old it was too early to tell. When I took him to Banfield, the vet made no effort to determine the breed of the dog and just when on word ... read more

Mr. ********** We are sorry to hear of your recent interactions with your local Banfield. Though we do understand your frustrations we do agree with the local hospital that the Veterinarian must be allowed to view the pet in order to determine breed characteristics and possible breed mix. This may not be sufficient for your landlord however which is why to be certain of Simba's breed a DNA test would be required.
Worst Banfield experience I've ever had. So much so that I canceled the wellness plan I had had for over 5 years. I picked my dog up after dropping him off for his annual, and no issues were reported. Nothing regarding the visit that I might have to look out for (allergic reactions, swelling, etc). As soon as I got my dog home, I noticed a HUGE bruise on his chest area. I called immediately and they stated it could be because of the blood that was drawn, but to bring him in. They did another blood test to make sure it wasn't... read more
