I had the puppy and wellness plan. I have gone to Banfield for over 4.5 years my dog was diagnosed with Cancer and recently passed apparently this company will try to charge you even if your dog has died, telling you have a balance even when you have made payments every month. When I called the customer service to cancel my account after telling them my dog passed the guy tells me i owe him money and starts laughing, i had a problem with the Banfield staff earlier that day when asking for some information about putting my do... read more

Banfield Pet Hospital, **** *** ***** ******** ** ***** NEGATIVE We called to bring our 16 year old dog who had been in failing health for months to be euthanized after an early morning stroke on March 18, 2017. The receptionist was nice and told us to come on it. We were 10 minutes away. When we arrived, we were shown a room in short order, but then the experience went downhill quickly. The staff chose a new young teenager to begin the process with us. She admitted she had been on the job a week. She was following protocol.... read more

I had the wellness plan. I have gone to banfield for over 2 years. I even get prescription food and had 3 pets on the wellness plan. I took my cat in a few months ago because I felt both cats had uti. They couldn't get urine from either cat and only took blood from one. They said they could get it from my male cat because he wasn't cooperative but since my female cat was peeing blood (I saw her) it was probably her and not to worry about him. So they didn't test him because he was too difficult. He has been getting sick for ... read more

Ms. ******; We greatly appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We are truly saddened to hear of ****** ***** diagnosis. We know how much he means to you, and we understand how difficult a diagnosis like this can be. Your recent experiences are not in line with Banfield’s vision or expectations. Local hospital and field leadership will review the care Little Bit received, as well your recent experiences. Someone from that team will reach out to you to discuss these concerns with you directly.

My dog is almost 3 years old and we have always taking him to the Winter Garden location for his veterinary needs. My dog is a Giant Schnauzer and he is part of my family since he was only 8 weeks old. He is a very active dog as it is expected with his breed and he has been a great companion for my family. I have not experienced problems of any kind with Banfield Pet Hospital staff until the past two visits (after the change in staff)that I have been receiving reports about my dog supposedly being aggressive. A review of his... read more

They always try to upsale me regarding my dogs. When one dog sprained a paw they told me her ribs and opposite paw of the one she hurt were broken. They wanted $700 to do X-rays on my dog who was 100% fine. They also told me I could pay for the plan including the neuter & use it after my 1 year period. I tried to use it & the refused stating it had to be within the first year. I specifically asked that question before signing up because my dog was being studded at 18 months. I hate feeling like they're salesmen versus veteri... read more

There should be a zero rating rather than starting at 1. I would NEVER take an animal to Banfield again and regret every time I took our precious dog there. They have incompetent vets who don't care about animals, they don't know enough to refer on when something is seriously wrong, they just want to make some money and be done with it. As a result, our dog died. They are very non-responsive and hard to get ahold of. If you care about your pet, spare yourself some pain and never go to this establishment.

We contact... read more
