NEGATIVE I recently had my puppy on there wellness plan, she was up for her spay and they botched the whole thing, only gave painkillers for recovery. Her stitches broke open and she got a bad infection. When calling the vet they told me they were worried about my puppy but couldn't take her in to look at her, and was told to take her to emergency vet and this would all be my problem. This veterinarian hospital is the worse. Their customer service is so unprofessional. Every time my pharmacy requests a refill they never respond back to them with the authorization and when I call them to ask them about it they like to put me on hold for 30 min. They’re not apologetic in the least and are extremely non-caring towards my pet’s need of having his medicine. I wouldn’t recommend this hospital to someone with a dead dog even. We’ve gotten hung up on 3 times and the rest of the times we’re placed on hold. The sad... read more

Be aware. These veterinarians are fine for preventive care, shots, wellness checks, minor procedures and such. Same day appointments were next to impossible to schedule for a sick dog. The people we dealt with were caring. But if your pet becomes seriously ill, as mine did with cancer, they are unable to treat. You will be directed to another affiliate comprehensive/emergency vet clinic at great cost. (I suggest you find your own vet, don't trust theirs.) They almost killed my dog. They don’t know how to treat pets and only know how to sell stupid plans and exams. They are horrible ahold close their doors.

We had a wellness plan with Banfield for years for our pet ***** we used to take her there for her shots and all the other regular check ups. Last Saturday March 24 ***** was scheduled for her dental cleaning I dropped ***** at the facility at around 7:45 a.m. I was told the doctor was going to get in touch with me before the procedure to discuss so matters. Around 10:10 am the doctor called me and told me that *****'s test showed she was very healthy and very well taken care of. She then told me that she knew I didn't want ... read more

I took I took my little dog for his yearly checkup to Banfield Pet Hospital his only issue was he was overweight but he was walking and in very good health no medical problems. When I picked him up he could no longer walk again, his feet were curled in, and he had a gigantic black bruise above his heart and under his throat. The vet there said that he was suffering and that I should put him to sleep. A rip-off! My dog died on yesterday. Mind you, we have been under a wellness plan since I got him in 2011. In February, as a result of him having uncontrolled accidents, I took him in. He was suddenly diagnosed w/diabetes, placed on insulin injections. Twice since then, I had to pay out of pocket to have him monitored throughout the day to properly determine the insulin dosage (both visits over $100). one early morning Sunday they took my ill cat in for me when all other vet hospitals were closed, they were so sweet and called me every couple of hours to tell me how he was doing, I love them! I got onto their health plan for my Baby Kitty, and its so worth your money, they treated him well, and made me feel like he was in good hands the whole time he had to be hospitalized.
