If you love your pet stay away from this business. I was with them for 3 years. Waiting time to get an appointment is 4 to six weeks out. If you need a vet to look at your pet because of a health problem they won’t take you! This business is cold, cold, cold.

to who ever sent to me with an email without a contact!!!! Looks like anyone can walk in at your business and add a pet to someone's account without the member authorization, right??? Well, guess what??? This is what's happening here. Looks like my son or his girlfriend went to your store and enroll thir 2 dogs under my account!!!! I never signed nothing for them!!!! Tuesday 7/24/18 was the last time I'll bring my dog to Banfield. I've been going to Banfield for 5 years. It was time for her teeth cleaning and I was first quoted a price of $360 in May 2018 and then a price of $400 when I brought her in-wow!. They blamed the price change on "Corporate". So when I brought my dog into Banfield for the cleaning, the receptionist asked if the vet had recommended at my last appointment that my dog have a tooth extracted . The answer was no and there was no mention of her needing a tooth extract... read more

I really don't remember when I started bringing my dog "*****" to "Banfield Animal Hospital", but I believe for 14 years he's been taken care of medically by the above named. I trusted them very much with my dogs health, until about two to nine months ago, when as I began to notice that the Dr. had provide me with a med that actually hendred my dog from hearing. I have had Banfield for a few years now. This seem to be great in the beginning. Walk-ins were welcomed and I wasn't paying an arm and a leg for service. I find that they have switched tactics. I can't remember the last time I went in there for a routine checkup where they were not trying to charge me for something. Almost as if they force the purchase by "highly suggesting" that you have this item for your pet. Lots of unnecessary pressure to make more purchases. My wife paid $92.99 for 30 tablets of Zeniquin 25mg. Cost per tablet is $ 3.09. From Pet value Mart I can buy it for $ 1.40. When I called Banfield, I am returning the goods, they refuse to acknowledge saying it is against Federal law. They are certainly ripping their customers. P30068 Zeniquin - Choose Strength : 25 mg, Choose Supply Size : 1 ct $1.40 40 $56.00

Unfortunately, we are prevented by law from accepting a returned medication once it has left the facility. Banfield does however provide price match options and we would encourage you to reach out to the local hospital to discuss this price match option.

I have been with Banfield for 3 years and i do not know why it has taken me this long to write a complaint. I am so upset at their level of customer service. I was told BY STAFF that my plan will not automatically renew (it did not last year, I had to go into the store and sign) but of course it did renew and I was charged the monthly amount. I called Banfield support 3 times and was on hold for 30 minutes each time at least. The 3rd time I finally got through and spoke to a woman about cancelling my plan. After she cancelle... read more

This place is HORRIBLE. Very unprofessional staff from the front desk to the doctors. I work in the medical field and I do not understand if these people think that because they serve animals that they don't have to behave like professionals that serve humans. I have been here twice. Once when my now 3 year old cat was a kitten and once last week. The first time there a customer was there complaining about driving from Carmel, NY (1 hour away) early in the morning to have his cats teeth extracted and it was 5 PM and his pet ... read more
