If I could give them zero stars, I would. We were unable to use the Wyndham timeshare for over a year after purchase. We had a vacation already planned for August of 2018 and even though they said that they had properties available in those locations, we were not able to use our timeshare. On the trip we took in February of 2019, we had to use RCI to stay in San Francisco (and pay extra fees) because they did not have available properties there. The timeshare has ruined us. We were pressured into making a decision at that moment. I thought it legit, but it was torture. We were there for about 8 hours. I don't know if they do that on purpose, so we can't think straight. Also, on the second time, they told us to do the down payment with ****** and explained the Wyndham credit card. My family and I had gone to Las Vegas on vacation and we were approached by a couple of World Mark by Wyndham sales staff, they said they would provide dinner if we attended a presentation. We were there for 3 hours! The pressure came from the sales people and it just focused on why we should get it and not on the real details about what it was. Wyndham completely lied to us about our timeshare. They used high pressure tactics, oversold what we needed and took advantage while I was in a bad medical situation and on medication and was not legally able to sign anything. They lied about the process of the payments and told us that our deposit would be the only payment that we would have to make (besides the maintenance) until it was paid off. We are not happy with our entire experience with Wyndham. We have tried to express our concerns many times. We have even tried voicing our concerns to a manager of the sales rep. I have the names of the primary people that we have spoken to throughout the multitude of presentations and owner updates. We are very unhappy with our Wyndham ownership. We feel we have been swindled by the sales staff since day one. Each time we attended an "update" meeting, we were told there was something wrong with our ownership and that we didn't have enough points to continue on as owners. In the fall of 2014 we were told we could never ever expect to ever be able to properly utilize our membership and that we wouldn't have enough points to book at the Ocean Boulevard Resort again unless we upgraded. I have fell victim to a scam by this Wyndham Location. I was told by "my rep" Nicolas ********* that this comes with a refund if I'm unhappy w/my experience but have to try it out first. I didn't have a stay while I was in Vegas & was told that I should be able to use it right away or the 3 day/2 night voucher they give for signing up. An experience that was suppose to take only a few hours took 6 hours. 5 & a half spent w/Nicolas saying that if I don't get it now I will be put in the system as unable to purchase in the futu... read more

My late husband, Alan, who passed away two years ago and I purchased a WYMDHAM timeshare and have upgraded several times since then. We have invested approximately $242,000 into our timeshare and I no longer have the means to maintain this contract. This WYNDHAM timeshare has caused much pain and suffering over the past two years. I am retired from the U.S. Army. As a veteran, I deserve to be treated with respect, but Wyndham salespeople did not comply with this basic courtesy. For example, no one explained the terms to us, and we were not given a chance to read the contract when required to sign. We want to build a house to replace the one destroyed by a hurricane. But with the unending obligation of this timeshare, financing this is difficult if not impossible. No one told us maintenance fees were going to be increased every year.
