We are very unhappy with our WorldMark by Wyndham timeshare and want out of this as soon as possible.We want to be able to go anywhere or do anything we want, and actually have a stress free vacation. We decided to buy this WorldMark timeshare only because they kept pressuring us to sign the contract and many people kept coming in and telling us all sorts of lies that lasted over three hours--it was gruelling! While my husband and I were vacationing in Las Vegas, we attended a Wyndham timeshare meeting in exchange for a $100 gift card--WYNDHAM preys on the elderly. While at the meeting, they tried to get us to purchase the timeshare using any means necessary, and they pulled out all the sales tactics they could. The sales staff worked us over for 4 hours and never once told us that when we passed away that it would go to our children, that would have been a deal breaker if we would have known. I purchased this Wyndham timeshare, and have never used it before because I had tried to use it before and was unable to book anything, Now I have no desire to go to a resort, and it was not at all what the salesman told me it was. The meeting with them lasted about 3 hours, and I was told that they owned most of the hotels so it would be cheaper for me to invest in a timeshare since I would be using one of their hotels anyway. We have been trying to get our voices heard for months, but no one seemed to care at Wyndham! The reason we are looking to get out of this Wyndham contract is because of the rising cost in maintenance fees, because we were not told about these in the beginning. Every time we have used our Wyndham timeshare, there is supposed to be a short presentation, but it always goes on for at least 3 hours and all they want is more of our money. I like many owners would give zero stars if I could! I have an active case with them after the stole over a million points from us during this pandemic! My wife and I are health care workers and haven't been on their website in many weeks. We had no idea we had so many points expiring at the end of March. You would think that someone would reach out to us and let us know or when I was talking to them on Feb 25th that she would have asked me if I wanted to bank my expiring points. We bought into Wyndham in March of 2019. We were concerned because we flat out told the sales rep that we couldn't afford the higher priced packages. He did end up offering a lower priced one that was somewhat affordable but didn't give a lot of points. When asked what we wanted to accomplish with the points, we told him that we want to take our daughter on a cruise for her senior year which was about to end. We were told not to worry that the points will roll over and once you saved enough you'll be able to go. So at the be... read more

I served my country for 20 years in the US Air Force, and my wife is also a veteran and we are being treated horribly by WYNDHAM! We were at a Wyndham timeshare presentation. The level of pressure quickly became intense after we volunteered that we could indeed afford the down payment, but were reluctant to spend it on a timeshare. Before purchasing this Worldmark by Wyndham timeshare, my husband was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma.He had so little control of his life at this point, and I let him make this decision in spite of my doubts. The next 8 years were a series of chemotherapy, hospitalizations, stem cell transplant, lung surgery, and heart issues. He passed away in 2006. Wyndham never explained the actual terms in the contract, and we were not given time to read the contracts ourselves. This timeshare has become a significant problem and we have severe medical hardships. I have stage 4 kidney disease and have had 2 heart attacks in 2019. It is clear that any future vacations are out of the question. Every time we went to the timeshare, it was another bite.
