We have tried to work with Wyndham over a dispute that we have over $18,000 worth of debt that we owe to their timeshare program, and an untold account of how much we have spent with Wyndham since 1982 when they were Fairfield. It has been much worse since Wyndham took over and we feel that it's been a bad experience. What a joke of a company. I am very familiar with how timeshare properties work and the marketing, but this company is absolutely unreasonable and was a complete waste of time. They wasted over two hours of my time on the phone just to tell me that during the call, their inventory has 'filled up' for the the whole week. And lastly, when they decide you're not a suitable candidate, they rudely hang up on you.

I would highly suggest on passing on buying a timeshare from these people. Me and my father bought this timeshare thinking it would be great for us to spend time together. We ended up using it one time since we got it in 2002. Our maintenance fees just keep going up and up year after year. He is in bad health and I have been diagnosed with a chronic disease so neither one of us can use it anymore but still have to pay the maintenance fees every year which cut us short on things we really need. My fiancé and I have not enjoyed our interaction with this company. From the time we bought our timeshare we felt as if we have been defrauded out of our hard earn money. To add insult to injury when we voice our complaints with Wyndham they go unheard. We were told we could make reservations at any resort we chose as long as we signed up. We've paid thousands of dollars into our timeshare only to be let down repeatedly. My wife and I were at a home show last year and Wyndham vacation representative was there. She asked us if we would be interested in attending a presentation for 2 free weeks. I asked her if she was sure and she assured me that yes, you pick the destination and "start packing". We went to the presentation that was supposed to be around 90 minutes but was close to 3 hours. I go on vacation with these people and they practically force me to do an 'update' (sales pitch) each time.. NOW they're calling my house. My phone is registered with 'Do Not Call.' Does nothing stop the harassment?

I'm currently on vacation with my family. We've been coming to ******** resort for many years, and this time around everything went wrong. We waited for hours for our room. The excuse we were given was that is Xmas time, no ****! You guys should anticipate this and know that you will be busy by now! The gas on the grill was left on, the TV on the living room was not working, front office people were rude! I mean I can go on and on. Most likely we will not be coming back.

I purchased 84,000 points in 2015. At the time I told Deidra that I had five children and my mother came with us when we take vacations. I also told her we take 1 week vacation per year to the beach. I asked her would that be enough to take a total of 8 on a 1 week vacation. She said yes and so did her supervisors. They acted like my husband and I were getting a great deal and we needed to hurry up and sign on the dotted line. I'm aghast that even with all of the complaints and negative reviews that the BBB has received about the Wyndham resort timeshare that they are still in business and following the same con-artist, rip off schemes and getting away with it!! We have been given the runaround by this company for months - "you don't have enough points", "you need to use your points by such and such date or lose them", "everything is booked", " move your points to RCI (our partners in crime) if you don't want to lose them"... And on and on it goes... read more
