I would like to say I've had nothing but horrible experiences from the first time I met these people in Florida. They basically lied about what their discovery package was and if I didn't have to deal with them who knows I may have signed up. In Orlando, no bonnet creek resort by wyndham, we joined a discovery wyndham plan and were cheated by the sellers. told us that we would win a cruise and 48 per day, which we could use anywhere in the world. But the package in fact gives right to 400,000 points and this rescues much less daily and the cruise is deducted from these points too, but you can not rescue, the daily and the cruise. also, they informed us to redeem in New York, however, the plan sold does not entitle to this resort. Under the pretense of cheaper show tickets, we accepted the offer of a 2 hour presentation with assurances that this was not a high pressure sales pitch. After 3 hours and 3 salesmen it was obvious they would not take me saying no for an answer. It finally got to the point that I told them to keep their money and I was walking out. I will make it a point to never give Wyndham any business, ever!
Terrible experience. My girlfriend was made aware of a promotion from Wyndham after staying at one of their hotels for a wedding. She paid $199 in order to get a free trip to one of their resorts for 3 nights, and all we had to do was go to an informative session about purchasing ownership for one of their timeshares. We have reached out to Wyndham on getting out of our timeshare contact because the sales reps lied to us about the perks of being a member. We have reached out to the several times but we have not gotten any response to resolve our issue. Our timeshare experience has been nothing like what was told to us by the sales reps during each purchase or upgrade. Wyndham practices deceptive sales practices. We traveled to Branson Missouri, and stopped at what we thought was a Welcome center. It in fact was nothing but Wyndham sales staff, but they are deceptive... they offer you discounts on tickets, and only after they get all your information do you then find out that you have to attend a 2 hour sales meeting for their timeshares. Upon check in at***************, Destin, since we were Vacation Club Owners, we were asked to meet with the concierge. The usual appointment was made for the next day 2/25 to "go over our ownership" and explain to us anything that is happening in Wyndham. I said "no" several times, but finally agreed when it was agreed that it would only be a 30 minute meeting. In 2015 I purchased membership with club wyndham. My other time share investments keep me notified of point / week status and how to maintain them if I can't use them. I received the first ever alert from Wyndham this month (Feb 2018) that my 2017 points were expiring at the end of March. I am a current timeshare owner with Wyndham and have been in dispute with them over a year regarding the cancellation of my timeshare contract. I have not heard anything from anyone about the current status of my cancellation for several months now. I am extremely upset about my the whole timeshare experience.
