On vacation to Branson MO, we spent over two very stressful hours telling them repeatly we were not interested in buying into a condo time share agreement nor did I want to open a credit card with them. After returning home I got a call from Lifelock telling me they checked my credit report which I did not give my permission for them to do. I have had my timeshare for 10 years and have gone on 4 enjoyable vacations that I had to plane on the phone years and months in advance and countless numbers of my time on the phone...Don't waste your time with then...Run,don't sign anything
Was approached by a "Club Wyndham" Representative in our hotel lobby who told us "The presentation and to view the new property would only take a total of 90 minutes from beginning to end. We would get 2 free nights at a hotel of our choice. I asked and triple asked are you sure we would be out in 90 minutes I am meeting family. We have owned a timeshare with this company since 1989. No one has ever forced us to attend any updates or meetings. We have always completely understood what we were doing when we made purchases over the years. It was never represented as an investment or a real estate purchase. We have overall been treated with respect, and we are happy owners. This is a sales business, so one has to expect that they are going to want to continue to encourage you to purchase more.

I was approached by some people on the street offering 90% off tickets, and I agreed expecting there was some catch. I should have been tipped off that these people were shady by the fact that there was no mention of a presentation in the initial exchange. They walked me through a casino to a desk with a separate group of people who then explained that I don't get free stuff without attending a 45 minute presentation and giving up my full name, address, and phone number. A complete misrepresentation. We agreed to the "VIP" package. It was $795 and we were supposed to be able to have 4 getaways in 3 years. Never once did the salesman explain that 3 of those getaways were for an offshoot company Leisure Time or that they expired within 18 months. Called Westgate to talk to my salesperson, but he is no longer employed with the company. Talked to the manager and was told there is nothing they can do. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
James, the sales manager was patronizing and rude, he made a rude comment about living in a trailer. We decided against a timeshare due to us leaving the military and wanting to purchase a home. He condescendly said "what kind of home for 23k?, a trailer?" I will never give my money to this company, train your saws manager I'm not being jerks.
This year we went on vacation we stayed a Wyndham Myrtle Beach Ocean Blvd we arrived on Friday June 30th a beautiful place and we had a wonderful time. On Saturday we went to the so called lunch and presentation where they were gonna give us 4 tickets to a show and a 150 gift card to go eat somewhere, we listened to their spill and told them we weren't interested, they kept talking, my husband had to leave and they come back and said you are now proud owner when I got back to the room my husband was so mad and upset so I cal... read more
This is a letter we have sent to Wyndham expressing our complete frustration with the lack of regard to our inability to access our Wyndham Vacation Resorts and RCI web sites: We are sending this letter to you in hopes that it will reach someone that truly cares about Wyndham customer service.
