I foolishly agreed to go to a presentation on Wyndham vacation club in San Antonio, Texas, because I was interested in seeing their new hotel there and was curious about how the time share plan worked. poor was lied to in the presentation to purchase and bought time only find out very limited ability to stay in locations.
We have been extremely dissatisfied with Club Wyndham and their lack of technical support in getting registered as owners and access to the owner webpage for booking stays. Their technical support is almost non-existent. I would not recommend anyone becoming an owner with Club Wyndham.

My parents foolishly purchased a timeshare from Wyndham Resorts. Both my brother's family and mind told them not to leave any timeshares to either of us. The fees were so expensive they didn't even pay them for the last few years. They both died last year, leaving the timeshare in their will. It has been nothing, but a nightmare trying to get rid of this thing and settle the estate. They are deceitful and unhelpful. Wyndham is a deceptive, misleading desperately greedy company void of integrity that preys on and pressures the elderly. My father recently passed away at 84 and my mother is 85. They have been trying to sell or get rid of their timeshare with Wyndam for years. They were able to use it maybe once or twice a year for 2 weeks. I have been an owner since 2010 at Bonnet Creek. I was led to believe Wyndham "buys back" only Bonnet Creek contracts because they were sold out of inventory and the resort was in high demand at the time of purchase. That is not true. In fact they use it as a scheme to get you to buy more points at other Wyndham resort locations. I have the salesman's "offer" sheet from Grand Desert Resort, NV. I originally purchase a timeshare with Wyndham in August of 2016. After purchasing I was pleased with my purchase until they updated the website. In June of 2017 while vacationing at the Smokey Mountain Resort in TN, I was convinced to sit through an update and by the end my issues with the website would be resolved. THE RESORT IS BEAUTIFUL. THE ACTIVITIES ARE ABSOLUTELY FUN. THE UNIT WAS WONDERFUL. WE ARE OWNERS AND WERE INVITED TO AN OWNER "UPDATE" WHERE WE WERE TO LEARN HOW TO NAVIGATE THE NEW WEBSITE. Stay CLEAR of this business as this is the worst financial decision you could ever make. Yes the resorts are beautiful but the company itself is ugly when it comes to owner relations after the purchase. I purchased 224000 Access points last year. The selling point I was given was how Access gave you advanced booking at over 90 different resorts. Of course the first time I try to use my points, there is a problem.
