My wife and I were asked to join a "vacation rental" seminar while attending the boat show. We were told that there was no obligation to buy and that by simply attending the seminar we would get a 7 day vacation package. We were honest upfront and said that we had no interest in purchasing a vacation rental. No worries we were told, most people say the same thing and there is no obligation to buy anything. We were also told that we needed to put up a $50 deposit that would be refunded when we showed up. By the time the semi... read more
Wyndham is a pure SCAM. Avoid like the plague. My wife and I normally never go to any timeshare offer ever. A talented saleswoman caught us in a moment of weakness and enticed us to a Wyndham "2 hour" timeshare presentation with the offer of a "free week at any Wyndham location." We travel a lot and figured we would use it. 1. The presentation goes way more than 2 hours. 2. The offer is AWFUL. I don't know how they sell it to anyone. It makes zero financial sense. They sell it using high-pressure used car salesman techniques... read more
Business response:
Good Morning Cee J**, I apologize about your sales experience and wanted to take the time out to address your concerns regarding the sales presentation. I understand that the presentation you attended lasted longer than the timeframe discussed. Please know, owners and guests have every right to leave the presentation to obtain their gift after fulfilling the pre-disclosed time requirement. There are times however, when the sales presentations may extend beyond the quoted timeframe based on the questions and the dialogue whi... read more

As a newer Club Wyndham member, I can say that I've always had great service. However, the ordeal that I've been going through has completely soured me on Club Wyndham as a whole. I use the online booking site frequently, because I'm able to travel at last minute and like to check both Wyndham & RCI availability regularly for vacations that might work for my family. But just over a month ago, my online profile was deleted and I am completely unable to use the site. I've called Wyndham many times about the matter and every t... read more
My husband and I have been Wyndham timeshare owners for several years. We purchased a timeshare on Kauai many years ago, which was not a Wyndham property. It was a resale property and we got a great deal...until we realized what the maintenance costs were. Fast forward a few years. Wyndham bought the property. I typically exchanged the property for other destinations due to high exchange rate. In 2015, a friend of mine and I went on a trip to see the timeshare after the upgrades performed by Wyndham. It was beautiful and I w... read more

Good Afternoon Ms. B****, I am writing in regard to the Better Business Bureau review that was submitted relating to your CLUB WYNDHAM contract that was purchased in Wyndham Bali Hai. I apologize for the frustration that you have experienced with your ownership. To further assist you, I have opened case #*********. I would like to schedule a phone meeting with you for clarification purposes and conduct a review of your concerns. My office hours are from 9:00am-4:00pm (CST), Monday-Friday. At this point I am so nervous about the purchase my husband and I just made. Our "90 minute" breakfast that started at 8:30 AM ended up going through lunch and ending at 3pm while we had our 6 and 7 year old. I felt so pressured that I actually started to cry and I felt as if we'd be attacked for leaving and after seeing these reviews I know why they wanted me to get off of the phone and stop researching. When we finally got the financing part right and were ready to sign they wanted me and my husband to be excited but I had... read more
My husband and I fell for the high pressure sales pitch at North Myrtle Beach location. Everything we were told regarding the "point" system was incorrect. We were assured that we would be able to stay during our regular vacation time and would be in the room we toured. Of course you are unable to see the details of your deal until after 3 days, which is conveniently the time frame when a contract can not be cancelled in the State of South Carolina. I would advise anyone to steer clear of Wyndham and their association. Unfor... read more

Good Evening Mrs. S******, We apologize about your experience. I would be interested to learn about the things that were told to you about the points system that deemed not to be true. If you are interested in providing further clarification and open to having a conversation, I would be more than happy to. Please email a written statement of your concerns and your availability to speak to Nicole.jones@wyn,com. I think that this company is absolutely one of the worst that I have ever seen. My mother in law started out with 15000 points and they continually upsold her until she got to 1.3M points that resulted in a loan for $130,000 at 12.99%. How they could think a 70+ year old woman would need that is beyond me. Her current annual fees are over $8400 annually and she could sell her points for $5,000. They completely sold her on so many things and she still can't believe that it is only worth $5,000. The whole time they kept giving... read more

Good Evening Mr. R****, We sincerely apologize about your frustration on behalf of your Mother in-Law. If she has any concerns with her ownership or would like to discuss her last purchase with a Sr. Case Specialist that can review her account and research any alleged misrepresentation allegations, we would be more than happy to do that for her as a valued Wyndham Owner. Owners and guests are welcome to attend a sales update meeting or presentation a their discretion. It is not mandatory to purchase or upgrade if the consu... read more
I attended a breakfast at the Poconos location on March 30, 2018. What this was wasn't clearly explained to me when the polite concierge offered me the invite. I figured it had something to do with selling Wyndham such as one person speaking in front of a large group of people. No, it was an awkward gross breakfast with a sales rep, part of an aggressive sales tactic. He seems very polite and I was very interested in Wyndham and learning more. He painted this wonderful picture for $15k. I fell into it. He sent me to someone ... read more

Good Morning Ms. C*******, In an attempt to speak with you this morning, I was unsuccessful. I understand that you do not agree with the financial obligations of the contract after further review of the documents upon leaving the sales site. You mentioned that you sent in a rescission letter to the Corporate Office the day after the sale. Please email me a copy of the cancellation request letter and postmark receipt (if available) to Nicole.jones@wyn.com. Also if you would like to discuss your concerns or provide additiona... read more
