We booked San Antonio about 15 months in advance. The reservation went through. Exactly one week prior to our check in we receive an email (they didn't even bother calling!) that there are some changes to our reservation and we need to contact owner services. I called MANY times within 4 hours and spoke with many agents. They were rude, made me feel like the bad guy, hung up on me, pretty much made me feel like a piece of garbage. They pretty much said that the sole person I can talk to is Ileana N**** who is handling this a... read more

My advise to anyone that is thinking of getting a timeshare with this company is to record everything, from the time they put you in a room and start talking. This is the only way you'll be able to prove what you're told. I promise you, 9 time out of 10, you'll need it. Some of the people that sale these timeshares have no soul, no remorse and they will never admit that they have lied to you. After you've sat there for 4 hours and you finally get to go finish with closing, do not let anyone say, " don't ask them any question... read more

Business response:

Good Afternoon Ms. S******, I apologize about your experience and the fact that you feel as though the sales environment is not productive. The last thing we want to do is make an owner/guest feel that their feelings or experience is not relevant. Our goal in Owner Care is to listen to the concerns being presented, research the concerns using all of the information provided to us by the owner as well as the contract documents signed during the time of sale, and provide a resolution based on the facts. You mentioned the nee... read more

Wyndham will lie and cheat to get you to buy a timeshare. Once you get home from vacation to review you will realize that the time to cancel has passed and everything they told you was a lie. Everything from ease of booking, to how many weeks, to a buyback program, all a lie. However, if you sign a contract they will honor that 100%, even though they lied to get you to sign it. Please do not use Wyndham

Business response:

Good Afternoon Mr. W***, I regret to learn about your dissatisfaction with your Wyndham Vacation Ownership. I would like the opportunity to address some of your concerns. You stated that you didn't realize what the cancellation period is until you got home. Please note that the rescission period is determined by the state in which you purchased and is provided to you within your contract documents at the time of sale closing. The consumer has access to the allotted rescission period when the contract is received. You stated... read more

Currently my situation has changed and I'm having financial problems making all the payments towards my Wyndham Timeshare. I have talked to a couple people about renegotiating my payments to see if they could be lowered so I could make some type of payment. I was told that Wyndham doesn't negotiate payments. One person spoke to me like I was a child, ask me several questions if I had someone to assist me with my bills. I explained my situation again; however, the person didn't have any compassion. I did speak with one lady a... read more

We got our first contract with Wyndham 4 years ago and have used it twice a year each year since. Although the availability was never what your sales people told us it would be for a Gold member, we have made use of it. Unfortunately, due to health issues that have been piling up over the years, we can't use our contracts anymore. I am a 74-year-old 100% disabled veteran and retired Master Sergeant from the US Marine Corps. I also have early onset glaucoma. My wife is 71 and has had total hip replacement surgery twice in the... read more

The reason we purchased the first contract "Worldmark" in 2015, was to enjoy prepaid family vacationing for the rest of our lives and to be able to pass it on to the family. We found that the weeks in the time share were for the most part what was represented by the sales staff. For our family, the hardship was getting our children to be able to get to the resorts. Travel for families is expensive, so we were looking for a way to make vacationing with children and grandchildren more affordable for them. The way the Wyndam Ac... read more

Have loved our ownership 300K points. Then they switched things on us (horrible website) and it was nearly impossible to find anything available. We needed to get into "Access" because all the owners are converting and inventory is now in "Access" Bait! but you have to buy more expensive points.. and switch! Every time you go to a resort the pressure to attend an update/survey or whatever the newest term is there right upfront and they are all high pressure sales tactics. I don't want anymore points I just want to go enjoy m... read more

This posting is to advise that Wyndham Vacation Ownership does take the concerns presented very seriously. Please know that I attempted to reach Mr. and Ms. C******** on September 28th, 2018 via phone and email. I was able to speak to Mr. C******** regarding the concerns presented. Mr. C******** provided me enough information to be able to conduct a thorough review of the concerns and I did submit the concerns presented to both our corporate office and the sales site in an effort to prevent these type of concerns from occurr... read more

Their practices for getting you to purchase a timeshare are dishonest. We are now out 25K because of all the unwritten promises made to us during our last vacation. We already owned 400,000 points. They said we needed to convert some of our points to "Access" points and purchase additional points. We have absolutely no change in our Wyndham Timeshare membership. Still cannot make the reservations we want. They promised all kinds of things, including following up and helping us learn how the timeshare can pay for itself...Sti... read more
