High pressure sales pitch, the easiest (and about only) way out is to sign up. Then, if you sign up, they immediately open and bill a credit card in your name. I sent a cancellation letter, which they received, but have not acted on a month later. Getting finance charges on the credit card, who will not suspend the charge.

This company promotes dishonesty! They equip the sales department to say whatever is necessary to close the deal. I will never refer anyone to this company! They promise to grant extensions if you're not able to use points before deadline. Then when you call to receive an extension, they decide it's not possible. It has to be a life-threatening medical emergency for them to grant an extension! Horrible customer service! They don't care if you get your money's worth, they have your money already!
This company is horrible sales keep calling me, Im a Wyndham owner they offer me to buy more points. And without my authorization they run my credit and now I have hard inquiry in my credit.
Really, I'd like to give a negative star rating. We got scammed, also read many, many reviews and want to say all of these people, they're right. Lies, total rip offs, greedy, not interested in the customer, just your money. The worst of it is, they're a poor value. They use strong arm tactics, recruiting extra sells staff when required. I bought into Wyndham as an investment, and an opportunity for my daughter and I to vacation. I was told that I would get to use Wyndham hotels on short notice with a discount. The first experience, was terrible. I tried to use my "Wyndham discount" and was told I wasn't eligible. I explained that I bought a timeshare, and that was a perk the salesperson said I had but they insisted that this was unavailable to me. We originally bought a timeshare with the Fairfield Company in Gatlinburg, TN in 2005. At some stage it appears that Wyndham took over from Fairfield, and we ended up upgrading into Wyndham in June 2013. This was much more expensive and the reps opened up a Barclays credit card for $15,979.00 to pay for the whole thing. It seems like every time we tried to use the timeshare to take a vacation, some reps intercepted us and put us through another meeting and another upgrade. This company is horrible, high pressure and all lies. We went for what was supposed to be 90 minutes ended up to be 4 hours. We declined the sale and they kept pushing and pushing, and offered points for a trial period which would be financed at 0 % interest. Well when we got the bill, it showed 19% interest and we immediately called to cancel...Now they are saying the cancellation cant happen because it is "out of the timeframe" to cancel.
