We were stopped yesterday at Flamingo and got signed up for a 2hr talk & tour of the vacation resort. It turned out to be a 4hr exercise. While we got signed up, the guy said we're getting tickets to a show for a specific day and time which was today. There was also a specific statement that there is no obligation to buy anything!! But after the walk thru, we were given a voucher to go and exchange for tickets. If I could give them negative stars I would. They use high pressure sales tactics and a confusing point system so you don't realize what you're buying isn't worth anything until you try to use it. I assume the only people who are happy with their ownership simply haven't done the math (Which may be the way to go because it's pretty infuriating to find out you've been scammed). I have found Wyndham lacking in customer service and response time when I have called to make reservations or have called with questions. I stayed on hold over 30 minutes several times and that is not acceptable.

As a 20+ year owner (Fairfield prior to Wyndham) and a VIP with 3 units I continue to be disappointed in the ownership and benefits. Dec 13 I checked availability online for an upgrade from the current reservation of a 1BR Suite, seeing a 1BR Deluxe available. As it had not auto-upgraded I called and spoke with Jennifer who explained that the system will not allow a 1BR to 1BR type upgrade. I wish to complain about the way in which WorldMark reps coerced me into buying a timeshare to help a friend. I have tried to use it, but nothing I wanted has ever been available and no one is there to help. This all started in February 2013 when I was attending a wedding in Las Vegas. I did not realize it beforehand, but the family organizing the wedding had booked us into a WorldMark timeshare for our stay. Any time we stay at a Wyndham resort we are engaged by salesmen making up an hour of our time to sell us more credits. We have been owners for 11 years and have never been able to pay off a contract. During the 11 years we have been with Wyndham, we have found the tactics and lies and omissions of the salesmen to be constants in the sales meetings and owner update meetings. I was completely misled by Wyndham Resorts and I had to find out on my own all of the lies that were presented to me that actually didn't match the contract. I was extremely badgered and pressured during the most recent presentation. Two salesmen double-teaming with questions and answers. We were to call one of the salesmen and he would outline the details of selling credits back to offset part of the overall expense since we had thousands of credits stored that we could sell because we were not able to use them. I would like to leave NO stars for Wyndham Vacation Ownership! We were lied to the whole time of the purchase as well as high level sales techniques! Everyone should have a lawyer present or not sign anything! During the 3 years we owned, every phone call for clarifications of the highly detailed ownership was so very frustrating to hear every single thing you were told was an outright lie! If I had it to do over again, I would definitely do things different. I believe that we have been lied to as well. I have been promised things in all my sales meeting and didn't get anything but bonus points. These bonus points are now due to expire December 31, 2018 and they neglected to use these points before the used my yearly points that are available to bank into another year.
