The bonus week in Hawaii we were promised, never happened! Advanced notice excuse given for car rentals and that and other excuses given when we tried to book the resorts. Constant meetings masquerading as owners update meetings, so not time to vacation. This is a well oiled money stealing machine. The checks they were suppose to send us traded for our points to offset maintenance fees and payments, never happened! System changes constantly so what we bought constantly becomes less useful. NEGATIVE NEGATIVE NEGATIVE!!!!!!! In 2010 my husband and I went to Massanutten on one of those "free" stays. We had to go to a timeshare presentation that was supposed to be 90 minutes with no pressure. It took almost 8 HOURS!!! They got us in a car and took us around and showed is stuff and we kept saying no no no but they just kept yapping and talking and trying to persuade us. The ONLY time you can book is slow season. You upgrade as they guarantee that will fix the problem and pay more, guess what??? NO HELP.. you still can not book what you want. My sales rep said he would be my personal counselor, he does not return my calls. Wyndham app on the phone is suppose to get you special rates.. NOT SO. This is a sham.. They promise dream vacations and saving $, This is not true, You do not save money... Its cheaper to book online the same resort. Once you buy every stay they make you go to a meeting where they try to sell you more. They tell you all these lies at the initial purchase and then admit it at the next purchase that you bought into crop but they way they word it is like they are trying to help you. We agreed to sign onto this timeshare thing with Wyndham after being told that we could vacation in Margaritaville in Puerto Rico for 2 weeks each year for our family. Once we got home and the dust settle and we finally tried to book this.. we realized we had been swindled. That there were tiers correlated to the points we purchased which effected availability of the resorts. So in essence what we paid for would never happened. Donna C I was told my debt soon would be paid off and I would only have maintenance fees to worry about. I was never informed about maintenance fees increasing or how the interest fees for Wyndham credit cards would be so high. They even had the audacity to tell me that I could rent out my points for cash. Each time I have upgraded, I was guaranteed a personal advisor, whom I never heard from. 1 star should be negative 10. We have been hoodwinked by Worldmark The Club. They paint this timeshare as an amazing deal that you can pass on to your family, and you can travel the world. NO YOU CAN NOT. Its not luxury, NOT a dream and NOT A VACATION.. just another opportunity for them to sell you more. This company is so blood sucking, we tried to be civil and deal with them on many occasions about all the misrepresentation and lies we were told but it got us nowhere. They guilted my husband who is ill into buying this timeshare because we couldn't afford regular vacations on my salary. They should have the option to leave negative stars. I don't even know where to start. All I know is this needs to be stopped! Someone needs to put a stop to the Wyndham scam. They are devastating so many lives. My life has been ruined financially thanks to the lies, misrepresentation and fraudulent tactics of the Wyndham sales scam.
