This companies customer service by far is the worst experience I have ever had in my 61 years of life. We had an issue with getting reservations with our timeshare, At an owners meeting, we let them know we were not successful reserving anything and they were supposed to upgrade us. Instead, it turned out to be a whole new contract. This was done so that we thought the old amount for the old amount would be gone and just the new contract was what we were going to be responsible for. I got a resale Wyndham Contract via E*** for almost no cost and I am loving my purchase ever since. The amount of money I paid in maintenance fee allow me to get a much bigger room such as suite for much less than a normal hotel rate. This company's business practices are equivalent to Jeffery D*****. They tricked me into buying more points so that I could actually vacation. Because the points I have barely allowed me to vacation and I am paying maintenance fees monthly for something I barely or never use. Then when I buy more points nothing changes except my maintenance fees go up and guess what, I still can't book the resorts I want. It's financial ****. There are thousands and thousands of people who are being scammed by this Wyndham Vaction Resorts company, my husband and I were tricked by a vendor named Roberto M***** at the Wyndham Rio Mar Hotel in Puerto Rico last year. We request the cancellation immediately we realize the trap in which we had fallen, and this is the date that we still have waiting for a case where the company does not deign to respond. Everyone who was lies to in order to sign a Wyndham Discovery membership. My was Norberto told us that we had 2 years to use 300,000 points and if we did not we would get our money back. This is call fraudulent misrepresentation because we believe him when he said we have 2 years to use the 300,000 points and we would get our money back. We do not recommend Wyndham Vacation Ownership at all. We have already had several phone calls with Owner Care to try to resolve our issues, to no avail. We sent an email to a few big wigs at Wyndham and again they sent my information to owner care. We tried to cancel right after we purchased and Spoke to Ms Jones. She was downright rude, condescending and refused to cancel our contract unless we took a trip to experience Wyndham. The same thing happened with Marissa Schneider, our Pocono sales rep. We want to complain about this timeshare for many reasons, but the icing on the cake was sent in a letter which outlined our issues and they opened up a case. I tried to reach Ms. Lacy from Wyndham several times and left a message and she did not respond back. This is the last straw for me. I just can not fool around with this anymore. Our personal advisors never returned our calls either. Absolute con artists. Bait and switch. Hidden terms and conditions. They opened a credit card in my name and my wifes name. (Two separate cards) We did not ask for this and declined all of their offers. I am a disabled combat veteran. I am also retired from the D.O.D. I will be advising all service members to stay clear of this scam.
