Wyndham scammed us. They told us we were buying into the S*********************, we made it clear that was the one we wanted, but the Paperwork says F**************. Also at one of our vacations, we had to go to an update meeting and there we were given some false information to get us to upgrade. BEWARE of this establishment!! They are very unethical in regard to their Timeshare presentations as many have posted. I could not get my full review to post as it was unable to for some reason but trust me even the Managers will not return calls. They then post an auto response acting like they care and list a bogus email address to reach out you them. Mine bounced back like everyone else that's gets it.

When we signed up, we were made to calculate the approximate amount of money we spent on yearly vacations, and from there the salesman emphasized how we would save SO much money by buying a timeshare. What a JOKE! Given the fact that we have yet to take a suitable vacation and have put thousands of dollars into this program, this has proven to be an absolute waste of money. Wasted 5 hours, was almost late to picking up my kids, walked away with a timeshare just to realize how wrong their math was and how much EXTRA I would be spending. they failed to tell me about the rescinding period, that they are required to tell me about by law. thankfully I found it and rescinded my contract within the allowed time. We were on vacation in TN and had already utilized Timeshare options with Wyndham which we never had a problem and were happy with. At that time they told my husband and I we could save money on updating our timeshare to a deed option. THIS WAS NOT FACTUAL. It is costing twice as much now then it did and we are not saving anything. They lie to your face and act like your going to be saving so much money. Wasted 6 hours of my family's vacations for all lies. Cannot get one person to reply to my calls and emails. Paying more then we expected to and getting much less. Every single Wyndham location that provides "timeshare" orientations/presentations should be shut down immediately. This company should be sued...and looking at all the complaints filed just this year there are plenty more families like mine that were tricked into garbage. The entire Wyndham is going to pay for this.

At first, this sounded like a great way to save and be able to vacation. We initially were excited to use our timeshare. But we quickly found out that it was hardto be able to use our timeshare. We bought in 2009 and have only successfully been able to use it once in 2010. To add to that the maintenance fees go up eachyear, that was never mentioned to us when we purchased this. Complete scam. They want you to buy a time share and use a credit card on the down payment. The card will require a 1 percent minimum monthly payment but it will have a 17 percent or higher interest rate. Despite numerous protests by myself and my husband about how WE DID NOT WANT CREDIT CARDS OPENED UP, Wyndham insisted that we would have to sign their papers. I wish that I could give Wyndham a 0 star review. We have filed our complaints with their "Customer Care Team" (more like Customer Abuse and Degradation Team) and have heard nothing back in over a week. When I got the "Specialist" on the phone I told her that I wanted to check on the status of my "written statement of complaint".
