I purchased this contract for the purpose of going on more vacations. I have owned it for 4 months and have not been able to utilize it in any way, shape or form. I have attempted to work with the company either through the website and/or by phone. The website crashes at the least provocation and it is almost impossible to get anyone on the phone through the system. Unless, you are trying to work with them to get their money. We find that Wyndham's behavior and practices to be unethical. April 2018: Cruise over night to Bahamas with 3-day Bahamas stay--tickets after presentation. Presentation took almost 5 hours. Kept saying no, no, no, no. The sales personnel at Club Wyndham are the snake oil salespeople of the 21st century. Nearly everything about the sales process of purchasing Club Wyndham points is a lie and a scam, with perhaps an occasional honest tidbit thrown in for comic relief, or to create some inkling of plausible deniability. This company has zero customer service. They are not honest. They refuse to put anything in writing so they will not work w unethical company. The fact they refuse to work by email is unsettling. They say one thing and do another. And they refuse to make it right and fix the problem. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. You will not get what they promise you.
Do not fall for Wyndham Vacation Resorts Rosy S******. They do not honor what they say. "This is an investment". How we can not even do what they said and rent it for money? Look online, you can not even sell these things for a dollar. They are always pushing you to upgrade. Long story short our 90 min presentation ended around the 5 hour mark. They went as far as asking my son in law,"do u have a social security card? Don't worry we're not immigration" I was horrified and insulted to say the least.
Have owned Wyndham points for a couple of years. The locations to stay are very good. However, the customer service experience is absolutely horrendous. Hours on hold to speak with supervisors that have no idea how to solve issues and keep asking the same questions over and over again, despite " tickets" and a trail of what has been performed previously supposedly logged on their end. I have been an owner with Wyndham since 1999. It hasn't been by choice to remain as an owner that long, it was because I was told by Wyndham that I could not get out unless I sold my timeshare. After divorcing in 2009, we tried to just give it back to them and they denied us. So after I remarried in 2013, I wanted to get the names changed on the deed being that I was stuck in it. This company is a bad egg. Stay away and do not go to any presentations where they offer you a free breakfast to show you how to vacation better. We thought this timeshare would be a good investment as we were told, we'd be able to travel more for less money. That has not been the case. Its cheaper to travel on your own. You have more choices as well. They will hold you hostage until you cave in. You will regret it as we have and you do not find out how it really is until its too late and that is how they get you.
