I don't even know where to begin with this company!!! HORRIFIC experience to say the least!!!! What started as a quick weekend getaway for myself, my husband, my daughter and her friend turned into a bad experience thanks to them. We stayed at Wilderness in the Smokies, which was amazing!! Of course we get stopped by the desk asking if we would be willing to do a walk through and listen to a spill on timeshares....Sure we get a free vacation out of it what could go wrong? I WISH I COULD LEAVE NO STAR. Wyndham Destinations set us up for a stay at the Wyndham Riverwalk San Antonio for Oct. 4th. Due to TS Imelda we are not able to make the trip. When we called we were advised that we would have to pay $75 to reschedule. We had already paid the 129.00 for our hotel stay months prior. When we explained that we were not financially able to make the trip we were told to pay the $75 or be charged an additional $175 for a no show. They lied to me after saying they wouldn't run my credit, or hard inquiries. They lied about not opening credit cards and they did. I went from a 749 to 636 they screwed my credit up while trying to buy a home. Stay away from this company!!!!

The salesman lied to my face and told me they would not run my credit. It would be a "soft inquiry" but nothing big. Of course, I checked my credit and i have not one but TWO hard inquiries from this company and I denied the vacation ownership multiple times!!! If you are going to do a hard inquiry, be honest! My credit was negatively affected for something I didn't even want!!

#1 We hate the owner's meetings this company forces on us the first day of our vacations. We will sign and then cancel right away just to get out of them. This is dangerous and now we just do not want to go. I want to point out to our vacations are average 3 days so 8 hours of one day is 1/3 of our vacation sucked up in order to try to get us to buy more???!!! We wanted to file a complaint however it seems the BBB can not help with "employee practices" And this is a huge problem with the employees of this company giving you false dreams that they know are not going to come to fruition. There was a lawsuit with a former employee; Trish W*******, who during her trial was able to get other employees to admit the sales department uses the term TAFT. This Timeshare resort company is an empty pit. You will feel cheated when you walk away from the dream world they painted up for you to reality. The things they talked about to get you to buy are not really within your grasp and they know this and still sale it to you knowing you will be stuck paying for a useless ownership.

Shell Vacations West Wyndham: Things of concern for this company: 1) They sold us on a weeks vacation every year, however, after our first vacation, we found out that with the points we had we could not take a week unless we banked our points from the year before and borrow from next year. 2) It's so frustrating to call to make reservations.
