First off, I'm disappointed that I have to give them 1 star, they don't even deserve that! On July 4, 2018, we made the mistake of attending a Timeshare presentation near our home at the Wyndham Corporate Center in North Myrtle Beach, SC. There was a lot of excitement in the very full room. Questions asked and answered seemed perfect to further Wyndham's case. Ownership in this company is not worth it. -They leave out the full cost of your vacations. They charge 100 for guests, even for the same guest they try to talk into helping pay each month for. They told my cousins who were with me, that they could use it anytime they wanted to but never said they had to pay $100 dollars each time. -They also never told us we would have to pay $87 token for housekeeping. Sneaky little devils. - They never explained to us how hard it is to actually get in. We had to pay for our own vacations ... read more

So the Salesman we had was pretty sneaky. He gave us a final number we were looking at per month, BUT HE LEFT OUT THE CREDIT CARD FOR THE DOWN PAYMENT AND THE MAINTENANCE FEES which doubled the cost each month, and of course when we got the bills and realized it, it was too late. It also took us about 3 months before we were finally able to book a vacation. I would give this company zero stars if I could. While staying in Myrtle Beach we were offered tickets to a local attraction and a $100 gift card to a local restaurant if we just spent 2 hours listening to their sales pitch. We had to pay $40 for the invitation, but figured, why not, it's only two hours. After two and a half hours we said their time was up and asked for our gifts so we could leave - they kept saying they were working on the paperwork, but in the meantime continued to pressure us to buy. Letter sent to Wyndham: This is a solid "no more for us". We bought into your timeshare when 6 sharks, oh I mean salesmen, surrounded us and did not accept our noes, not now, we are not interested. Really it takes 6 people to sell something that someone wants. That was an afterthought that I might have had if your company had not been the reason my body was starved of the nutrition I needed. I was contacted by JCS on behalf of Wyndham hotels and offered a bait and switch timeshare scam. The person called from a NH area code to tell me that I won the grand prize of 4 round trip airline tickets worth $5,000 from an entry form I filled out at the Bacon and Beer Festival in IL. Supposedly, all I had to do was take a quick walk through of this Wyndham hotel. The JCS sales rep never told me this was going to be a timeshare sales pitch. Wyndham is nothing short of a bunch of illusionists. They toy with your emotions on a very expensive investment. Each time they tell you your last representative from this company made a mistake and did something wrong to us and they are going to be the one to fix it. Finally, after a few of these under your belt, you realize how they have scammed us out of money for "upgrades", if you want to call it that, for their commissions and Wyndhams coffers without the reciprocal benefit as described and as expected. I want to complain about this company. It has been a year since they had me switch my Kona contract for a Club Access contract. Mr F***** assured me this was the only way to lower my payments. I have Cancer and I am going through treatments and I am now caring for my daughter who has an illness that does not allow her to work, so the whole point was to lower my payments. We paid initially to vacation when we wanted to and where we wanted to go. They told us there were no blackout dates. However, everything is always booked. We have to settle for something less than what we need; either farther away or different dates, so we end up paying out of pocket for our vacations anyways! We also see on the vacation sites that the resorts we have tried to book that are full, have space for someone else to book and we paid a lot of money to have priority booking and be before non-owners but we see that ... read more
