Wyndam Timeshare is the biggest SCAM beware anybody thinking of doing this .All you end up with is a payment because when it's time to go on vacation even months and months out no luck then you still end up spending money on somewhere to stay because they are always booked .The biggest regret of my life was this purchase of Wyndam Timeshare so many other things to spend your hard earned money on besides this SCAM. It has been my recent experience at Wyndham Kauai Beaches RCI Update presentation to be full of latent misrepresentations. The original greeter person said the update meeting "shouldn't take too long and includes a breakfast." No breakfast, and it was a full blown presentation. I was led to believe the deal was for 4000,000 points. He didn't tell me the 246,000 bonus points were one time only. Don't do anything in haste. Caveat Emptor and perform your due diligence. scam artist they said we were signing up for Disney passes. If we did a seminar. We had to sign paperwork for the Disney passes. Then years later I found out I have on my credit report a timeshare that I never got a deed for. They are filing on my husband's credit report and mine. Never knew I had to pay for a timeshare they make you sign papers for timeshare and say it's for Disney passes. I did get to Disney passes. That I ended up paying for in the long run. I am extremely disgusted with Wyndham. All they do is lie and cheat and deceive their members. 5 years ago my mom was promised so many things and they were all lies. I can't even being to tell you how furious I am at a company that deceives the elderly. My mother was offered a time share and was promised a deed to Bonnet Creek in Orlando FL. We have regretted purchasing this timeshare since we purchased it. Initially we were guaranteed, 175,000 points each year but now it has decreased to 60,000 despite us paying $400/month for the timeshare. According to the website, we are supposed to pay $65/mo but our statements prove otherwise. My wife and I have a family of 11 which includes: children/spouses and grandchildren. 60,000 points barely gets an extended stay for a room for 2, let alone rooms for 11! Total BS! If I could give ZERO STARS I would. I can't believe I fell for it not once but TWICE!! And guess what?! The Second time we bought, we were specifically told that our first purchase was not useful and not practical because the amount of points we had was insufficient to do anything we wanted to do in Hawaii. They point blank told us that our first package we purchased was just to get our "feet wet" and that it would be of no use to us right now unless we upgraded. I am filing this grievance against Wyndham Club Vacations for their lack of customer service. Over the past year my siblings and I discovered that on numerous occasions Wyndham Club had coerced our elderly parents into purchasing over $60,000 in Timeshare points. This is not what they say it is going to be. Not even close. You will lose points if you do not use them so you just try to get in anywhere. But you are still wasting money because you are not going where you want. And you might only get in a for 2 or 4 days when you are supposed to get much more for a vacation then that each year. I upgraded my timeshare wile visiting Pampano Beach FL. I was told that the ~15.99% interest rate that they were offering could easily be refinanced at my bank to a more reasonable mortgage rate. This was a complete lie since the back does not offer mortgage rates against timeshares. I pay huge payments every month unlit we go to Crossville, TN as part of our emergency evacuation.
