Took our 4 year old Aussie and brand new puppy in for check-ups today and was so impressed again with the service at BVH. Your staff is always so fast and professional!! Thank you for loving our pets just as much as we do!
My dog was found after 33 days of being out in the fields thanks to our gardner leaving our gate open. We took him straight to Bakersfield Vet and they saw him right away. Dr. Betts and the staff were amazing to our baby while he was admitted to the hospital side for 48 hours. I don't trust anyone else with our animals.
All the staff is friendly and it's definitely a clean location too.
Never had a problem at BVH, the after hours staff are just excellent, baby cut her lip on the fence and needed a couple stitches, we were in and out in about an hour and a half. Never had a problem here, not my normal vet but is great for the after hour emergencies
Very uncompasionate and was more woried about the money then wanting to help up. That's how we took it. My opinion.
I've been bringing my fur babies to this vet for years for after-hour emergencies since I lived in Tehachapi, but now that I live back in Bakersfield I will use them full time! My 7 month old lab swallowed a very large quilting pin 2 nights ago. I took him in to the Bakersfield Veterinary Hospital at 10:30 pm and was in a room in a few minutes, then he was in surgery in a short time later. My experience at the Bakersfield Veterinary Hospital. There was really no long-term waiting they got me in immediately they were knowledgeable and didn't do unnecessary procedures that would have cost money in layman's term they don't rip you off. They were knowledgeable on Pet Care and petlife. My cat was very ill. They showed compassion and offered me alternative. That is where I'm taking every one of my animals from now on.
