the staff at this pet hospital are the best we have ever seen they let us stay with our dog till we were all there to be with her and to say our good byes before the big sleep to the rainbow bridge then they let us stay with her to cry and kiss her for the last time till we were ready for them to come get her so caring and loving and respectful to us and Winnie and even tho they told us what we didn't want to hear but what was needed they told us the nicest way anyone could and I thank them for that

Omg after my dog was stabbed in neck last I took my Zadie to vet on Easton I said I had 150 but can get more by morning they wanted 2000 charged me 140 to bandage her by the time we drove home blood all over me I quickly grabbed my bandage from my leg surgery wrapped her over the other bandage so 8 am I call Bakersfield Veterinary Hospital they were concerned right away took her they treated my Zadie like a victim not like I was getting quote to fix my car forever in your debt my Zadie was just protecting us from drugged out... read more
My experiences have been that this vet has saved every one of the animals I or my family have rushed to them with a medical emergency. Although I find the bill to be kind of pricey we are forever grateful for the effort put into saving our fur babies . My daughters dog Brick had swallowed a large rock and was saved by surgery . My foster puppy Lightening was saved from having a chicken bone stuck in his throat ( his new owners let him eat) the dr was able to remove the chicken bone and he is now doing well , and last but not... read more
I took my dog in with what we thought was an eye infection. The vet recommended removing my dogs eye, in case it was a tumor. So we agreed. I was a little upset because they said my dog was being vicious, and he never has been before. Three weeks later my dogs other eye was going bad, and he was coughing up blood so we took him in. The vet informed us my dog had lung cancer, we ended up putting him down that night. The staff was VERY nice and caring.
