Terrible service. This was at the location of *** ** **** Street, Alpharetta, Georgia. When we first got our suv, it was dirty inside. The dashboard had lots of dust on it and the seats had crumbs and there were also crumbs on the floor of the car. Then when we came to return the suv, we got stuck in traffic and called them to say that we were on the way but would be 10 minutes late. Pertains to the Avis store at 1631 Northwest Broad Street, Murfreesboro, TN My vehicle needed warranty service and a part of the service was a rental car. My dealership set everything up and had the authorization for the rental car, I dropped off my SUV, and my dealer dropped me off at Avis of Murfreesboro. I completed the paperwork and they needed an imprint of my credit card for incidentals like tolls and if I did not return the rental full. Returned my Avis rental at the Las Vegas Airport Rental Center. I asked the attendant for a paper receipt after he checked in the car. He told me had just emailed it. Thanked him and left. Well I never got a receipt, you can't call the Avis Las Vegas counter direct, you get diverted to the Avis national counter. Talking to the national customer service , they showed that the car wasnt checked in. I see on other reviews that overcharging has happened when this occurs.

AWFUL! I called Avis on Madison Avenue and was transferred to customer service 5x. After not being able to get through to the local office I asked the representative about renting a vehicle from the Madison location. The representative assured me that a car was there and ready to be rented. I asked several times if he was sure. The rep would tell me yes, he was sure. I took an **** to the Madison location only to be told they don't have any cars available. I am beyond FRUSTRATED!

AUG-2022: Poor Quality Vehicle and Surprise Over-Charges. Our Avis Rental Vehicle required service to continue using it, half-way through our trip. Upon calling Avis to discuss, they recommended to resolve issue on my own, since their Roadside Assistance is unreliable. Cost me $50 at ********* to have Avis Rental Vehicle serviced. Avis playing a game for me - their customer. They first told me a car rental is 140 dollars a day, I thought I might be able to find a better price, so I called budget. and budget tell me it will cost me 175 dollars a day. and I call back to Avis and they told me it is 185 dollars a day. here is the problem they don't have a set price, and the two companies operated by the same owner. their sales get angry with me. as a customer, I really appreciate someone do something about it to protect customer. Cars are very uncared for, dirty inside and out, very unsanitary. dents all around the vehicle, My first windows stopped working then vehicle broke down, wasted 2 hours on my vacation then another hour to get another vehicle. The second vehicle I received was disgusting and was never washed or sanitized before being returned to service. This vehicle key battery died then was leaking water on my legs from under the dash. Avis Bait and Switch tactics (apparently a common problem with AVIS rent a car). The AVIS agent said she could "give me" an upgrade when they "did not have" the car I had reserved a month earlier online. She further told me that the Credit Card added charge was just a "Block" on the card that would be refunded when the car was returned.
