Horrible customer service. Definitely won’t be back. I used National for years. My first experience with Avis. Couldn’t possibly be any worse. After waiting in line and dealing with a rude CSR I was given a car. When I went to get it it had no keys. Had to back and wait in line again. Got another car which reeked of cigarettes and marijuana. I’m done with Avis

Upon arriving in St. Louis Airport (STL) we went to the Avis Rental Car location to pickup our vehicle. We checked in and when we walked out to our vehicle the car was not what we told it would be. Concerned that we may have the wrong car I went back inside only to find out the clerk who helped me was gone now which was minutes after we were just there. Only one clerk was there and she set us up for another vehicle after a 20+ min wait. I reminded her I needed a vehicle with low mileage. The office was now filled with 10-12 ... read more

As an Accredited Business with the BBB for well over a decade, I am now completely disappointed what it has become. All I get is Chat Bots, Chat Boxes, Return Undeliverable Emails, and a contact for ************************* that goes to nowhere. I have been asking for a refund since I renewed and got the runaround and refusal to answer my inquiry. The Better Business Bureau has upgraded itself to very place that is destroying small business integrity everywhere in the world. Please just give my money bac and let me move on.

This organization has does not maintain good communication with it's clients. When I attempted to contact them at their phone number offered on the BBB WEB SITE by tapping on that number, my call was diverted to a sleazy organization attempting to extract personal information by pretending that I won a free reward.

Rented vehicle in Miami Feb 2023 Pulled out of airport location noticed Fuel Guage was not full. After spending an hour in line to get the rental no way I was turning back. Approximately 1/8 tank down. Windows were filthy, vehicle had 47,000 on it and I doubt they were ever cleaned inside. Dropped rental off at another location that was a small store front that was closed, ie was on a Sunday. Dropped it off first thing Monday and I realize they charged me for an extra day. The staff at Avis Chandler are awesome. I thank them for always trying. With that said Avis as a company has become greedy. There is no reason I should be paying $360 a week for a car that I have to also do repairs on because they have no replacement cars. If you cannot hold up to your contract with your third party contractors. You should not be in business with that third party vendor.

Avis took my money for a confirmed reservation, arrive at airport, sorry sir no cars left. Now they want me to wait 3 to 5 business days to get my money back, funny it didn't take 3 to 5 business days to take my money. There were at least 100 people in line Thursday night Feb 26 at Tampa International all with prepaid confirmed rentals and all were turned away and told take an uber and come back in morning we have no cars left. I'm two hours from home, house sitting. Uber is my only source of income due to medical issues. That's the only reason I have this stupid car. I had one electric rental that I had to constantly stop to charge (SEVEN charging stations- not free ones either) died on me in the woods two nights ago. Still haven't heard back from roadside assistance about it. I finally get to switch it out ( they only have electric cars). I get that where I'm house sitting after a few Uber rides. Absolutely the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. My flight Into the Orlando Sanford airport was delayed - early on in the day- I called to let them know and to CONFIRM they had my flight information.
