Rented a car in Kansas City International Airport. Car reeked of smoke even though Avis advertises their fleet of cars is 100% smoke free! Not true. I felt sick the entire vacation due to the smell of smoke in the car!!

I rented a car on Nov 9,2023 from Avis in Charlotte. Line was super long and had to wait for 1.5 hours to pick up a dirty car with less than full tank of gas. Only 4 agents available to assist. The car was below the full line when I picked it up. On Nov 10 no one available to check in my car. When I saw my receipt I was shocked to see a fueling charge as I left it with probably a book out 2 more gallons than when received. I called customer service and they credited me back that charge. I rented a vehicle from **** which was a wreck . I asked to be provided with another vehicle to which I was offered a pick up truck . That is not the same class as a *** 5 series . The *** broke down in ******** . This was the day the car was due to be returned by 3PM . We were told a tow truck would deliver a car with a half hour to one hour . There was an **** location 12 minutes from where we were . Yet 4:15 minutes the tow truck arrived . That is 1:15 PM. **** sent the tow truck from *******. Thats correct the same locat... read more

My husband was contacted by Sedgwick about “supposed” damage to a vehicle he rented to take Scouts on a big trip. Rental dates July’22 and “claim” date was July’23. Pictures of the damaged vehicle had snow on them and the odometer was 7K+ miles higher then when it was returned (surprise.!! We still had the receipt). You really should follow the example of the kids and Do a Good Turn Daily and not promote fraudulent charges against a nonprofit.

I had a bad experience with my rental I'll never going rent with Avis or Budget customers service don't give a ****

Attempting to rent from Avis has been a nightmare! They do not have any real way of solving the issues because there’s not even a way to contact them all the phone numbers lead back to customer service who knows nothing and the staff inside the locations don’t care about helping. This is ridiculous

I prepaid for two days. I returned it a day early. They told me they won’t refund my $160 for the extra day because it was prepaid but suggested I don’t prepay next time. It’s crap company. I won’t give them my business again.

I have rented a car on 11/3/2023 and told the agent about our intentions to droop off at a different location. The initial location selected was Forth Lauderdale but we end up flying from MCO airport just to found that we have a charge of one time fee of $150.00 in addition to $10.00 fee for the changes made . Which is equal to a full day of car rental..I may agreed to pay some reasonable fee but not this ridicule amount. I will have them a -5 but the lowest rate is 1 .

Absolutely awful!!!!! I prepaid and booked an 8 seater xl car for my family’s first Disney trip on Christmas. Our flight was a nightmare with delays and I should have just been able to get the car from the lot. I was a preferred member and prepaid. But nope. Pregnant I waited for 3.5 hours from 2-530am while my husband spent money on a taxi for our other 3 kids.
