I plan to travel in March and have pre-arranged a rental car with Avis. I will be cancelling that reservation and going with a car rental company that does not do business with the NRA. Happy to take my business elsewhere.
I made a reservation with Avis in November for a trip this last week in February. The day before pick up I got a call from Avis telling me there were no cars and there was nothing they could do. Apparently reservations with this company are not real, they do not actually reserve a vehicle for you. They would not help me locate a vehicle with a different company. I was able to get a reservation with Enterprise on a busy holiday weekend and the Enterprise guy went out of his way to help us and made sure we had a car reserved. ... read more
